The devs are literally allergic to the color black. They literally made the shrouded armor(Dark Brotherhood uniform) gray, and even the literally named "black and burgundy outfit" to purple and red. It's insane.
Looks cool, I think its the better of the two daedric mods I saw. Skyrim, Morrowind, and ESO all have Daedric being much blacker. Oblivion kinda ruined it. My only complaint is I wish the red parts weren't blacked out in this mod. Like there's a piece of cloth below the belt that should be red, and the points of the tips on the helm should also be red.
Was this handpainted or did you use a lower saturation and brightness slider? If so that's probably why a lot of the red details got blacked out.
I was casually watching oblivion vanilla vs remastered armor videos on yt and i literally said "the daedric design is fine, but it should be more darker, even pitch black" Dude this is awesome, I am so happy to see a kindred spirit. Thank you !!
Well my process is I use fmodel to extract the texture, I edit it, I open unrealengine 5.3.2 and name a blank project oblivionremastered and uncheck starter content. You have to enable the generate chunks and assign chunks settings. Then in the content library I do the exact file path that it is ingame and I assign the chunk number and then I package for windows. I don't think I have any other special settings.
i have follow all the step but i keep getting an error when i launch my game with my mod: LowLevelFatalError [File:W:\Altar\Engine\Source\Runtime\Engine\Private\ShaderCompiler\ShaderCompiler.cpp] [Line: 7481] Missing global shader FOpenColorIOInvalidPixelShader's permutation 0, Please make sure cooking was successful.OblivionRemastered_Win64_Shipping OblivionRemastered_Win64_Shipping OblivionRemastered_Win64_Shipping OblivionRemastered_Win64_Shipping OblivionRemastered_Win64_Shipping OblivionRemastered_Win64_Shipping OblivionRemastered_Win64_Shipping kernel32 ntdll
I think you should make the blacks much lighter than what’s currently shown, in og the armor was very dark grey with touches of grime? I believe, this is better than the remaster but imo pales to og. All in all thanks for the mod
Great! A shame it can't be a full black recolor but cool anyway. Is the quiver for the arrows included? Edit: it does include the quiver! :) I would love to see recolors of the horse saddles and bridle, especially Shadowmere. She looks weird with light brown
So I tried to do shadowmere's saddle here. There is a caveat in that it will change the other saddles because they share bridle textures for some reason. If that's cool with you there you go.
