After some generous poking around I can't seem to figure out what's going on, I'm also running into issues where there are still things spawning where they shouldn't be. I'm going to try to see if I can figure out some workarounds but I don't know if there's much I can do without there being more proper mod tools. I'm going to keep an eye out but until there's more information available, as much as it breaks my heart to say, I'm going to have to put this on hold. If there's anyone else that can do what I can't, by all means take up my mantle. I need this as much as you guys do.

Genuinely thank you for trying and all your work over the years. Skyrim was unplayable until your mod, and now Oblivion is shaping up to be the same. I would love if it you kept tryng, but I appreciate you either way!
I'm also having an issue with Spider deadra still spawning and I'm betting it's a mod conflict but instead of digging into it, I found another great mod that makes the legs and backs of Spider deadra invisible (it's just the torso) so should they still spawn it'll just be a weird floaty torso
why not make them invisible and 1 HP with a debuff of lose health 10 for 1 sec., than giving them a different name (invading bear XD?) and add that it corpse looks like ashe after dead.
that way even if spawning they die imidiatly and only ash is visible and if you hoover over the ashe the name is something else.
I still use this mod. At least in the (first) Oblivion Gate in the open ash fields the ****** are changed with Storm Atronachs. [My PC friends shared that they had them there.] Unfortunatly not in the Towers (jump scare altert) and not in the "open" of the Cyrodiil lands.
I unexpectedly met spiders when I was going through the Paradise quest. Perhaps the mod doesn't take into account all the spiders that are in the game?
Hello, I've downloaded the Land Dreugh Replacer and also the Spider Replacer. They do not seem to work, so I thought I'd break down what I'm doing in order to aid in debugging or perhaps updating the instructions.
Went inside a building to unload enemies, saved, quit game
Extracted both mod files
Removed spaces from .esp file names
Pasted both .esp files into D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Oblivion Remastered\OblivionRemastered\Plugins
Unsure if that was the correct place, so I also pasted them into D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Oblivion Remastered\Engine\Plugins
Updated Plugins.txt (D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Oblivion Remastered\OblivionRemastered\Content\Dev\ObvData\Data) and added file names (with no spaces, as I renamed them)
Pasted .esp files in the same folder as Plugins.txt also just for good measure, as I've lost control of my life
thanks so much man. I used a similar thing in OG Obilvion that would turn them into scamps. and in skyrim it would turn spiders into bears.
But I just had one question, does this require OBSE to work? i installed manually, and then also on vortex mod manager just to be safe because if it doesnt work im fucked. (or ill just have to face my fear of spiders)

What is probably happening is that you loaded a save where the spiders are already loaded in. The ones that are removed/changed are ones that havent spawned yet.
Thank you for your answer。 And I made an attempt,I set my level back to 14.This no longer seems to refresh the spiders. Then I set the level again to 23.they‘re back. Is this part of the game already load the spiders?
hmm i downloaded the crab mod but i still see crabs? like i was in a cave when i added this mod then i explored a cave a bit and i saw a crab does it count as "already spawned enemy"? so it didnt work and they still were crabs not wolfs it has to be new instance?
The mod only changes new spawns and doesn't currently remove anything already spawned in, sorry! Looking at other comments I may have missed a few things though and I will have a look later this week when I'm free to make sure. Seems to be working fine for some people and not fine for others.

I downloaded only the Spiders Begone 1.4 file and installed it as indicated in the description.
