    Would it be possible to make a version that removes the glow when hovering over items to pickup?

      I did see this, but I prefer not to use reshade.

      I think a mod with this mods current functions and a few features from there would be received well.

    Would it be possible to make a version that also gets rid of the SFX for enchanted weapons? I've been seeing some bugs with them

    Buggy side effect: when you are burning (for example, when moving into the fireplace) there will be no effect of the flames surrounding the player.

      Might make a couple optional versions ex still have shield spell and gloves for destruction but will want main file mostly bug free

      Yeah that would be nice.  The latest version seems to work really well and works on everything i've come across which is great.  
      All we need now is one that still allows harmful effects ( ideally just on enemies but i assume that's a limitation right now ).  

      Spells definitely are a bit anti-climactic when there's no effect on enemies.

    If I cast soul trap I can't see the current capture state and whether I need to cast the next one, because the effect is not displayed on the enemy. Need a version where only the effects on player armor are removed.

    Does this only affect the player or are NPCs affected too? The green glow when using Charm on NPCs is a little distracting.

      Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be working for me. Are we thinking of different things maybe? I'm referring to this glow when using the charm spell.

    oh thank god does this fix it so when u soul trap w a wep the enemy turns purple all over? it was insanely annoying.

    At least on my side this causes [NL] tags to appear i.e. in the Magic - current effects overview.

    The NL Tag remover also does not fix this - it seems to come from this mod as when I disable it it is no longer an issue.

      Thank you for removing that annoying purple Absorb Magicka glow from my character. Absolutely worth it to install this mod. I'll take the [NL] part for granted, its no bother like that horrible glow was.

      Do the NL tag appearing break anything or is it just a small inconvenience?

      The [NL] tag can be fixed by placing the no-membrane-shaders.esp directly underneath Oblivion.esm in the load order in the Plugins.txt file. I tested this twice myself and both times it worked.

    Thanks for the mod! This same shader appears on enemies when you do a power attack with a bladed weapon after leveling Bladed Weapons to Journeyman level, it really takes me out of it

      But this shader of a strong attack on enemies is still working for me, you don't have it with this mod?

      I'm guessing it's disarm spell trying to trigger, I'm looking thru the effects but haven't found the likely culprit yet.

    Need a mod to remove magic glow on bound armor and weapons since that wasn't in the original.
