I think it is a bit wild to recommend players to "Note: In the beginning Imperial prison escape section there is a hole where if you are a High Elf you will be too tall to fit through, when you reach this section just use Player.setscale 1 in the console and then use Player.setscale 1.1 after you go through the hole."
because that means for the rest of their playthrough their achievements will be boned.
Is there a safe way to remove the mod mid playtrough? the mod does work well but when I edit the height of my own character with the console command it reverts it back to the "normal" height from the race as soon as I speak with any npc.
Funny thing I found out: the devs definitely didn't think of water walking when they made bridge clearance. At regular height, I don't make it under a lot of things. It's how I knew making characters larger would be a hindrance. Luckily I like playing short characters too
So, I should note that changing the player character's height can cause some serious bugs. For some examples, if you are taller than 1.0, you will get stuck in some dungeons. If you are shorter than 1.0, you will drown even while at the surface of water.
Does this mod do anything to alleviate the above issues, or will they be potential concerns in a playthrough?
Surprised im not seeing more complaints about this, but the heights are waaay out of whack. I made a high elf and im a good 2 to 3 feet taller than humans and orcs. The tallest altmer were about 7feet or so. Not 10 feet.
This mod is great, but I did encounter an issue with the quest 'The Ultimate Heist', I play as an Argonian and I am unable to fit through the Slough Gate that I need to get through to get to the Palace Sewer enterance because I am too tall, so if you wish to do that quest I recommend disabling this mod beforehand.
This happens because of the scale height bug when changing height.
Argonians [Type 2, Male] base scale is 1.03, however since the player scale is always 1.0, whenever it changes and reverts back, it sets the value to 1.03 which becomes 1.06 {1.03 x 1.03 = 1.06}(This is what's making the character grow overtime) and this will be repeated indefinitely until you restart your game or install this mod.
TLDR:
Each race and gender has their own scale.
The Player's scale is always 1.0 and ignores race specific heights
The game tries to set the race value to the player scale which results in multiplicative scaling
So if i set 1.08 as altmer it bugs as 1.1664 height which is too tall for caves small areas etc. This is just one grow, overtime it multiplies even more.
It also happens at Wawnet Inn, and some other places. I'm playing a high elf atm and after getting off a horse and my height being fixed, there are places I get stuck on and can't fit until I reload and reset my height.

player.setscale 1.05
I enter this to make camera eye level and my guy not look so tiny but I need to do it ever time I start a game.

Therefore, it will never get fixed.
