Currently busted due to latest update, as well as a few other mods :( EDIT: Turns out after the update, the Plugins.txt list got reset, so I had to re-add all the mod .esp's to the list to get them to work again.
Possible you could modify the speed of arrows? There are several faster arrow mods available for original Oblivion but so far I've not been able to get them to work on Remastered.
They probably put it in the Engine file tree and not the Remastered. Both trees are setup similarly and its easy to put them there. Files need to go into The Elder Scrolls IV- Oblivion Remastered\OblivionRemastered\Content\Dev\ObvData\Data. The mod author added an extra content file tree in their post so its probably confusing some people. Also this mod is adding NL before lots of spells,NPCs and all arrows. So if that bothers you like it does me, then wait for a fix. Otherwise just make sure you're in the right file tree.
- Extract the main file archive into "The Elder Scrolls IV- Oblivion Remastered\Content\OblivionRemastered\Content\Dev\ObvData\Data"
so for this first step simply drag/copy the mod into the folder as described.
- Open "Plugins.txt" file located in "The Elder Scrolls IV- Oblivion Remastered\Content\OblivionRemastered\Content\Dev\ObvData\Data"
for this step open the plugins.txt go to the bottom of the list and type in manually (WeightLessArrows.esp) without the parenthesis then click save file and load game
and a p.s most people will respond kinder when simply asked i didn't explain because of how quick i figured it out i thought i was the only person overthinking it and it took me a minute to realize you can't actually copy/paste a .esp file into a .txt file
Pretty much all ingredients and many spells. An example of an NPC is Sinderion in Skingrad. Also I uninstalled your mod for testing and the NPC's STILL have the tag. :(
I switched to a different weightless arrow mod KRI_Weightless.esp which also does ingredients and the ingredients and spells no longer have NL but most NPC's still do.
If you're seeing [NL] in front of NPCs, either there is a load order issue or your base game/dlc .esp files got tainted somehow, or maybe a different mod. Check out the comments on Fix NL nexus page and see if any work for you. Try deleting and re-validating your base game/dlc/altar .esp files with steam. Run the script on all of your mods, it might be another one.
not sure why it isn't working for me. I put it in the correct folder and typed manually into the plugins text file. Arrows still have 0.1 weight. - Follow up: Nvm i forgot to save the txt file again xD
I put my dang files in the Engine folder and not the Remastered folder lol. Its working now but im going to be removing it until the NL bug is fixed. It would be fine if its just affected arrows but affecting NPC names, no thanks? I can wait
I really have no idea why it is adding the prefix to so many things, i just modified the arrows mentionned in the description. I'm waiting on some documentation to fix this, so no ETA for now.
Not even going to bother with this mod. I just use console to change max carry weight, because not only do I pick up every arrow, I also pick up every folk, cup, pan, rag, and whatever else I come across.
Well nice for you, but maybe some people, me included, don't wanna cheat too much. And i actually don't really understand why you comment under mods you don't want ?
Why even comment this? Just say it to yourself and move on. You wasted your time just to click on a mod page that tells you what it does in the title, you knew you wouldn't be downloading it and then made a comment about how you aren't going to use it anyway? Like, why? LMAO. The internet never ceases to amaze me by the the people who use it.
Yes sadly it does that, for a yet unclear reason. Due to limited information on the actual state of modding the game, i did not yet find a way arround it.
Seems like all the current mods add the [NL] prefix to things edited. More than likely a side effect to using mod tools for OG Oblivion, seeing as how the Remaster iirc has the Gamebryo engine as the core, with Unreal layered atop it for rendering.
