Would it be possible to add more Quick Menus? Like holding down 1 on the keyboard opens a Quick Menu I can fill with spells of Alteration, and another Quick Menu I open by holding 2 that I can fill with spells of Destruction or whatever? Because I find the amount of slots for a quick menu is way too little

Could you make a version that just lets you toggle the slow motion effect outside of the Quick Menu while still being able to move around?

Anything specific that might stop this from working? I dropped the slowmotion folder into the ue4ss/mods folder.

I finally got this to work. Make sure ue4ss and this mod's SlowMotionShortcuts folder are installing to:

      OblivionRemastered\Binaries\Win64\ue4ss\Mods for Steam
      OblivionRemastered\Binaries\WinGDK\ue4ss\Mods for Gamepass

For Steam, if you installed ue4ss correctly, you should have 5 items in OblivionRemastered\Binaries\Win64\ue4ss.
Put the SlowMotionShortcuts folder in OblivionRemastered\Binaries\Win64\ue4ss\Mods.

This mod rocks, vanilla quick-wheel blocking player movement inputs is baffling, slow motion mends this excellently thank you for the mod!

This mod did not start to work until after I left the tutorial dungeon. This is not a big deal at all, I just happened to start a new character and noticed it not working during the tutorial. I thought it might make first-time downloaders of this mod think that it isn't working at all.

That would be strange, it just detects when you press and release the button, nothing more

If it seems impossible, then perhaps it is due to a conflict between this mod and another mod. I use a few which modify the tutorial dungeon.

I don't  know if I'm being incredibly dense. I've installed Ue4ss to root folder in steam as instructed. I've downloaded both, this mod and Attack cancelling that use UE4SS into the mod folder. However neither work. Can someone tell me I'm being incredibly stupid and then help me thanks :)

possibly need to add the name of this mods folder to the mods.txt file in \steamapps\common\Oblivion Remastered\OblivionRemastered\Binaries\Win64\ue4ss\Mods

      so add SlowMotionShortcuts : 1

under the other lines and it should work

Wait, I'm not seeing a mods.txt file under Oblivion Remastered\OblivionRemastered\Binaries\Win64\ue4ss\Mods

Wow, I forgot to install UE4SS

Love the mod, I really hate the vanilla scroll wheel implementation and this improves it significantly. A couple things to note:

Any idea why using the wheel now seems to apply a small amount of upward force to dead bodies? When I use it, bodies will seem to start floating into the air very briefly before falling down again. I changed the slow value from 0.1 to 0.4 and this reduces the amount of force significantly, but doesn't get rid of it completely (testing with dead daedroth and scamps, on 0.1 they all move, however on 0.4 only the scamps move, and much less than before). Does not seem to affect in game items at all, as far as i can tell.

Also, one of the main reasons I want to use this mod is to allow me to keep moving when using the scroll wheel, which is honestly my main gripe with vanilla. At first I thought your mod allowed this, but then I realized that you still do stop moving after a slight delay. With such a large slow on 0.1x speed this isnt noticeable at first, however after changing to 0.4 to prevent the force I mentioned, you stop moving much quicker. Do you have any ideas what is causing the player to stop moving with the wheel active, and how it could be prevented completely?

(btw, I tried both your mod and Xorberax's, the effects I mentioned seem to be identical between the two. I tried looking into the scripts of both mods but I'm no expert and didn't see anything that could explain this)

edit: upon more testing, I realize this mod is causing the game to crash on quick load about 9/10 times. making a bug report now.

Hmmm maybe, it depends when his mod applies the value 0, if its before my mod should work

Hi, I'm curious how you were able to activate slow motion on Oblivion remastered? There used to be a console command where you can do slow motion, but I forgot what it is. Does you script activate the game's console command for slow motion? And if so, what is that command?

For example, for Skyrim it used to be"Set Global Time Multiplier" but I don't know if there is an equivalent for Oblivion remastered

      Simply open the script :)

The Engine side is now UE5, so you cannot rely on the OG Engine commands anymore, I don't know or think you can just run a command to enable it here

"I don't know or think you can just run a command to enable it here"

That's too bad. I would've loved to be able to do slow motion through console.  Thanks.

Hello bug report. Your mod slows down combat, enemies, attacks, the world as a whole... but it forgets about stuff outside of the wo regeneration. Regen is not slowed down. Mana specifically is the issue. Now on the one hand its easy to simply not exploit this, just leave the slow mo menu up waiting for it to recharge.. However, even when not trying to exploit, if you are constantly switching spells for protection, paralyze, summoning, damage, etc, it really does add up tbh and give you a ton of extra mana. Any way you can hook the regen into slow mo too?

Can you report under bug section?
