It's standalone and achieves a different purpose. Your main character level (This is the big bar that you see gets filled) determines attributes while the other skill level mod affects skills only.
You can use it together. Some users were interested in a very slow levelling experience so I made this mod. You could also do something interesting like slow character levels and quick skill levels so you get more perks without affecting the level of enemies that much. Or you can do the inverse if you are a masochist.
I started character with this mod (0.75 is good for me) and then just recently added your other skill mod (0.75 also) to same character and main XP level up bar is at 0 and not moving after doing some combat? Did I miss something? Edit: Was at 0 'cause just leveled up before save and started moving up skills a bit after a bit more playing. Just going a slot slower then anticipated. All good.
I dont understand this...So I need to use "FasterCharacterLevelling0.5x" to level slower? Also, what file to pick to level skills slower, but at the same rate as CharacterLeveling? I just want slower pace of the game
This mod changes the max level when installed since skill level ups count more toward your main level. You should look at my skill levelling mod if you want to configure when you reach max level.
If you want to, is it possible for you to make a mod that removes Minor Skill Level contributions to Character Level? Alchemy is my biggest reason, i'd really appreciate it.
The mod doesn't contain a copy of the original default altar.ini. Does anyone know where to locate it? I forgot to back up prior to installing this mod.
Do you mind telling me where you got those UE5AltarPairing.VOblivionInitialSettings from? I want to tweak other stuff as well but cannot find a list of valid variables to change.

Marksman 25 -> 100 = level 20,2
Conjuration 40 -> 100 = level 22,6
Blade 26 -> 100 = level 24,9
Sneak 25 -> 100 = level 26,9
Light Armor 25 -> 100 = level 28,6
Security 9 -> 100 = level 30,4
Armorer 5 -> 100 = level 31,8
All skills 100 = level 44,6
0.25 Multiplier
Alchemy 19 -> 100 = level 8,4
Destruction 31 -> 100 = level 11,2
Marksman 25 -> 100 = level 13,1
Conjuration 40 -> 100 = level 14,5
Blade 26 -> 100 = level 15,8
Sneak 25 -> 100 = level 17,1
Light Armor 25 -> 100 = level 18,2
Security 9 -> 100 = level 19,2
Armorer 5 -> 100 = level 20
All skills 100 = level 27,6
0.1 Multiplier
Alchemy 19 -> 100 = level 6,4
Destruction 31 -> 100 = level 8,3
Marksman 25 -> 100 = level 9,8
Conjuration 40 -> 100 = level 10,8
Blade 26 -> 100 = level 11,7
Sneak 25 -> 100 = level 12,5

Armorer 5 -> 100 = level 14,6
All skills 100 = level 20,1
I just want slower pace of the game
You cant quantify Elder Scrolls games like that.
But trust me in OBRE youll be max level before you run out of stuff to do. If you jump and cast magic youll be max level before you visit every city.
Thanks!
