I feel like this isn't working as intended on Bosmer male. My brows seem way more transparent than the bold look in the mod image. And the weird part is it was working, and I don't know what changed, or how it could be conflicting with any mod I have. It's working on other races, though.
Can you name your files by what they are. Have a hard time keeping track of what is what when the files have names like pakchunk17windows.pak and pakchunk24winods.pak instead of say EyeBrowTextures.pak
Thanks for this mod a lot. I also wonder if anyone can make a mod - face light. Currently all faces are so dark, people don't look like themselves zoomed out. There was one in Skyrim with two options - face light normal and less bright (darker). I don't know whether it's available for OG Oblivion as I played it without mods. Thank you again! P.S. I will post a request for face light mod on Nexus forum too.
Hello, I also want to do a brow texture replacement myself. However, after I exported it using Photoshop and then imported it into Unreal Engine (UE), there is a problem with the texture format. It has a white background and is not transparent, while yours is correct. Could you please tell me what the reason is?
Thing is Photoshop is known to export png with alpha channels incorrectly, but GIMP opens them fine. I'm not sure if there is a better workaround (please do tell if you know one), but since I'm too used to work with textures in PS, I opened textures in GIMP first, resaved them as .tga to retain an alpha channel, then opened tga in PS, edited, saved, and then opened edited tga in GIMP and exported to png again (be sure to enable saving data on transparent pixels).
Also (and I'm sure Fuse00, being an awesome human being, will update this mod in her time), but if someone really struggles to wait for a proper update I can share my edited version of v1.1 - brows look more or less the same, I just tried to fix transparency issues on male nord and bosmer, but I've also reduced texture size from 2048 to original 1024 (in advance to avoid black face bug, though I'm not sure which part helped, but orcs do look fine), and made eye makeup a bit more transparent, so that colors other than black would look fine. I understand it's not everyone cup of tea, but that's a downside of current engine/texture structure - eye makeup and eye skin colors are in RGB channels, and brows are in alpha channel of the same file, hence to get a needed combo we have to learn to do it ourselves.
+1 except i think the default colors only allow blonde eyebrows by default weirdly enough, i remember when i first made my character being surprised by that, but i think the mod maybe makes the color more apparent. Hopefully thered be an option to swap out the brightest blond for true white

look into SuperPNG Plugin for photoshop to solve transparency / alpha issues :) enjoy!
