This is extremely early stage modding, so use at your own risk!

Unfortunately, the way to increase encumbrance from the original Oblivion doesn't currently work (increasing the fActorStrengthEncumbranceMult value), the UI will show the increase but the game will still behave as though nothing was changed (you still get overencumbered as if the value was still vanilla).

To remedy that, this mod:
1. Adds an amulet that basically negates the weight of your current inventory.
The amulet will be added to the player inventory upon startup.
If you've already started the game, you can find it in the arena raiment chest in the Bloodworks.

This amulet has a massive Feather enchantment, which works in Oblivion by deducting from the current weight. See here for more details:
https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Feather
If you get encumbered, unequip and re-equip it.

2. Adds 3 different versions of the vanilla Scales object that reduce your total weight as long as you have them in your inventory
  • Small version reduces total weight by 300
  • Grand version reduces total weight by 1000
  • Massive version reduces total weight by 10000

You can find them in the world, or in that same chest (not in your inventory)

- Download the main file
- Extract the main file archive into "The Elder Scrolls IV- Oblivion Remastered\Content\OblivionRemastered\Content\Dev\ObvData\Data"
- Open "Plugins.txt" file located in that same folder
- Add "Featherlight Items.esp" at the bottom, and save
