Quick question: Downloading with Vortex is enabled, but my map doesnt improve in quality when i install it via vortex. Is it needed to install it manually or what's happening?
I am having the same problem, had the files in the ~mods folder and nothing changed, also had it in the paks folder and nothing happened. The describtion doesn't say anything other than to drop it in either of those two folders. Am I missing something completely fundamental to allowing textures to be changed?
Yo Br0nXMainStr33t! Try fast traveling somewhere and look at the map again! I think the game just needs to load the new map while playing! That seemed to fix it for me at least! Other wise try and change a setting like the difficulty save changes and then look at the map! thats all I did and then I noticed the new map had loaded!
It's great to see you giving this game some attention after your great work in W3! If you're still taking requests can you make a colored version of your HD map similar to the Map Recolor mod or the old Elven Map Redux mod from OG Oblivion?
Would love to see a version of this using the map from the OG Oblivion mod More detailed World Map, which includes all the paths up north. It does have a psd file as an optional download. But I don't have the requisite knowledge or software to upscale it properly.

Perfect little "Install and forget" QoL mod. Endorsed.

The local maps are horrendous!
