The first version uses a modified font for Japanese characters, especially hiragana and katakana. Though most of the kanji are from the original font used in the Japanese text language of the game, some of the kanji had been modified (notably 心 and 女)

The second version has modified hiragana and katakana, but all of the kanji are from the original font used in the Japanese text language.

The third version has all of the kanji and hiragana & katakana from the original font used in the Japanese text language.

The fourth version uses IBM Plex Sans JP (Regular style) font for the Japanese text. Since all the kanji and kana are from this font, this version shouldn't have the issue of inconsistent thickness of some kanji (like in the first version)
