This mod was created for Offline mode but as the vast majority of this type of mods also usually work fine if installed on the Server and Users in online mode, I cannot offer solutions for the hundreds of different types of Servers that exist because I am not a programmer or Server Administrator. I hope you enjoy the mod and share the experience of how you managed to get the mod working on your respective servers.
I tested this out and can confirm that FastTravelAnywhere can stop this mod from working. Simple solution to that is to move the contents of FastTravelAnywhere outside the Palworld directory first, load this mod according to Gantz79's instructions and then reload the game. Once the map is viewable, reinstall FastTravelAnywhere if you still want to use it.
Hi! Incredibly new to forums, but this is another instance of a half-completed map. New save, no other mods, and a freshly installed version of Palworld. The same goes for a pre-existing save as well. I've reinstalled the mod and tried again, alongside checking integrity as a precaution before reinstalling just in case something was amiss, yet the result is the same. If there's additional info I can provide, please let me know!
Sure it might work for you, but it's still broken for some of us. Your mods are literally the only ones I have installed that alter the BP_PalGameSetting.uasset file.
If the mod does not work correctly it is evident that you are having a conflict with something, it is indisputable. I will explain how PAK mods work: It is very simple, you use a tool to extract the original UASSET, with another tool you modify some simple numbers that are what indicates the diameter to clear the fog around the character and then you pack it again with the same tool that you extracted it, end. All this is the same method that developers use to create a DLC or UPDATE and there is no better way to create mods 100% with original assets that do not need any kind of tool to use them, the result is the same original UASSET with slight numerical modifications that works as a DLC or UPDATE that are loaded in an original folder created by the UE developers and made specifically for it called ~mods.
There is nothing better or less invasive and undetectable than this method, the game when it starts will not know it is a modified file because it will think it is an UPDATE or DLC.
P.S: You should also know that the UE4SS that all users are using is experimental and was created for UE4, PALWORLD is created with the UE5.1 engine.
Strange. For me it only unlocks literally half the map on the right, the left side nothing is shown and doesn't get discovered when I explore it. I've tried it alone and also with the modular mod to have the lower cost condensation and unlock full map loaded.
This mod is no longer working, not sure why. Ive been using it for a while on a private single player server and its suddenly stopped functioning after the cross play update.
The mod was updated to version 0.5.3 and is fully functional, you will have to check what other mods are conflicting with it, as stated in the description it will conflict with any mod that modifies BP_PalGameSetting.uasset.
