cant seem to get to work. using ue4ss v 3.0.1 if that helps C:\XboxGames\Palworld\Content\Pal\Binaries\WinGDK\UE4SS_v3.0.1\Mods\EnableGamePassChat-... does this seem right?
Thank you, I must've missed that in the patch notes. I've been using it myself and haven't noticed any issues, so I'm guessing it might be a console only issue.
Works for me still. If it's already in your Mods folder then you might want to check if your UE4SS is loading by checking if UE4SS.log (Text Document) is present in the same folder as Palworld-WinGDK-Shipping.exe. If you don't see the log file then that means UE4SS isn't being loaded in which case check that you're installing UE4SS in the right place.
If you see a UE4SS.log file then you might want to check that you didn't accidentally extract the mod as a double folder. Basically make sure you don't have WinGDK\Mods\EnableGamePassChat\EnableGamePassChat\Scripts folder structure. It should look like WinGDK\Mods\EnableGamePassChat\Scripts

Just wanted to ask if when installed in a dedicated server it also needs to be on the clients. Thank you!
Edit: Yes it does.

Also, I noticed your comment questioning why they disabled chat. Despite everyone blaming Game Pass and ESRB the reason is actually pretty simple:
For some reason, chat on the Xbox version was causing assets to just straight up not load in on multiplayer servers.
Not sure if this is still going on, but that was the official statement in the april patch notes. Thanks again :D
Added to mods folder, rebooted game/system and still nothing. Strange
