would it be possible to make re-rolls not random? sometimes players want a specific model but re-rolls are completelly random, if there's a lot of models installed for a pal it can take some time to roll for the one they want
I'm having a weird issue now where the skins are changing for captured pals every time I load the game up. For example, when captured and first summoned i had a yellow Vanwyrm. Then after reloading my game it changed to a different variation. Does this for every pal I've captured so far that had skin variations.
I have a question. I play solo and with a friend online. Will my mods also be visible in our shared game, or only in the one I play alone? (I'd also like to know about those infinite stamina and higher capture rate mods.)
How does altermatic saving work? If I re-roll a swap on a summoned base pal, sometimes when I reload the game they have a different skin (I'm pretty sure theyre not conflicting, there's only two skins one for default and one that has its own path though I could be mistaken), do I need to re-roll then put them in the pal box then take them back out in order for it to remember which model that pal was using?
They can be, just the current version of the mod doesn't have the capabilities of 'selecting' them, however this is fixed in my current WIP version so will work in the next version! (If you want to change party pals, set them in your base, re-roll, then add them back to your party, the swap should save and persist)
Can this be used on a server? :D I already installed it locally and it works nicely, but now i want to switch my save to a server so the pals produce over night.:)
May need to be more specific on what you mean? For users, there's already a video guide, I searched "Palworld how to install altermatic" and it shows up right at the top of google, though we also have links in our Discord. As for using as a modder, check the metadata doc that comes with Altermatic and we prefer helping people in Discord as exchanges are much easier that way. ^-^
Will you please update Altermatic to properly work with vortex? Vortex in itself is not user friendly, having mods that make it less user friendly just make it a nightmare to work with. I appreciate the mod and the work that has gone into it, but I am lucky enough to convince people to use mods through a mod loader. Having to walk each person through the setup if a complete nightmare. Also since there is no proper integration, Altermatic does not disable when disabled in Vortex so it can get flagged by anti-cheat software despite vortex saying it was disabled..
The FAQ entry's explanation is kinda going over my head. To clarify my question, can you have the base game skin and the default replacer active at the same time separated by gender? I noticed after using the FModel tool that the default replacer skin has the same file path as the base game skin. I made a .json but it seemed to have no effect as both male/female presented as the replacer skin. If it should work anyway I guess I'm just missing something when setting up the .json.
