This mod was created for Offline mode but as the vast majority of this type of mods also usually work fine if installed on the Server and Users in online mode, I cannot offer solutions for the hundreds of different types of Servers that exist because I am not a programmer or Server Administrator. I hope you enjoy the mod and share the experience of how you managed to get the mod working on your respective servers.
I'm wondering about the new guild requirement to upgrade the guild storage to 10x. I'm playing on a private server with me and a buddy of mine. We have a few large bases already. So from what I understand, the bases belong to the guild, right? As in.. the palboxes? Would I have to destroy all the palboxes on the existing bases, leave the guild, create a new guild, then replace the palboxes? Or is there a simpler way of doing this?
Sorry I can't help you but I don't play the game anymore and I have never played it online, this mod was created at the request of some users and I don't know how the guilds are managed, but if you test with it and you get results easier than deleting all the chests and creating a new guild, please stop by and share the information with the other users.
The guild chest storage isn't tied to any specific box. The structure itself doesn't store the items, it just gives you access to them. If you want 10x storage in your guild chest, you need to first leave your current guild, because that's the only way to "destroy" the guild storage and make a new one. The only way to leave your guild if you're the last member, is to join somebody else's. So you will need a friend to stay in the old guild. If you leave your guild, you can't access the storage or build anywhere within range of the old guild's palbox range. Your base level will be reset to 1, which limits how many bases you can have and how many pals you can have at the base. If you want to build a new guild chest on your original base, you need to destroy the palbox, which is owned by the old guild, then place a new palbox, which is now owned by your new unnamed guild. Destroying the palbox destroys any structures that cannot be placed outside of a palbox's range, such as.. anything requiring power, power generators, capacitors, the guild chest, hot springs.. etc.. These will all need to be replaced.. which can be quite annoying...
This is all a pain in the butt and annoying to deal with. Idk why my brain went in that whole direction to begin with.
The easiest way to replace your old guild storage with the modified 10x guild storage is this. Don't destroy anything. Leave your old guild. Build a palbox next to the main base of the old one. Build your guild storage chest. Yay! 10x storage slots! Next you will need to upgrade your base level, so the maximum number of bases you can have is enough to include all of your old bases plus the new one. To do this you will need to complete all the base upgrade tasks, such as building a workbench, assigning pals to the base, building a hot springs. Have your friend bring you all the materials you need if you weren't smart enough to bring them with you in the first place. You won't be able to access the storage from your old base since you're not in the guild anymore. Once you get the base level high enough, have your friend empty out the old guild storage, then join your new guild. They won't be able to join if there's anything in the old guild storage, so if you have pals constantly depositing anything into the guild storage.. you will need to put a stop to that first. The easiest way to do that is to just put down a regular storage box in any bases that only have a guild storage box. The pals will prioritize the guild storage last.
Anyways, when they join your new guild, the old guild will be merged with the new one, including all the old palboxes, bases, pals, storage, etc
One nice thing to mention is that once the expanded storage is built, you don't need to have the mod installed, and anyone who can access your storage containers can enjoy the expanded storage without installing any mods.
For new saves simply setting the max number of guilds in world settings works.
For existing saves: MAKE SURE TO BACKUP YOUR SAVE, USE THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK Ok i found a much more straightforward method to mod a guild chest in an existing game. We will need to use Palworld Save Tools again.
Empty your base palbox , guild chest and delete all instances of the guild chest. for extra precaution i also empty all my inventory and equipment gear into another chest. Set the max number of guilds in the world settings to 1
Unpack PalworldSaveTools wherever you want, inside that folder you will find another folder called PlaworldSave
Copy your level.sav file from your save folder to the PalworldSave folder
Open PaworldSaveTools and press 1, this will convert the level.sav file to a json file called level.json
Open the level.json file, i prefer to use notepad++, just dont use the default windows notepad its crap
Search for PalGuildItemStorageSaveData
Slightly below that you will find something like "container_id": "7c025502-4231-e26a-a9fe-f68312e077de" like pictured here
Change the last letter there to any other letter, for example i will change it to "container_id": "7c025502-4231-e26a-a9fe-f68312e077df"
Save the level.json file
Now Open PalworldSaveTools again and press 2, this will convert your modified level.json back into a level.sav file
Copy and replace your new level.sav file back into your save directory
And voila, your new guild chest should now be modded
Hope this was helpful to anyone AGAIN BACKUP YOUR SAVE DATA INCASE ANYTHING GOES WRONG
I have tried the method with changing the save file in the json... Weirdly enough, it is not working for me. I tried multiple time. I'll go try again lol.
When this kind of problem happens to you, contact customer service because the problem seems to be NEXUS, the file now let me download it without problems.
Good morning, I use a few of your mods and in turn are required to use the Gantz modular mod, I noticed that the storages and the 1.5 times mods were updated individually but the modular one had not had an update, our server keeps crashing saying corrupted file and its when i leave the modular file in there even though i redid it , I am assuming because those files still need updating and it takes awhile ?
Yes that mod needs to be updated, I have not yet been able to finish recreating all the bats contained in the modular mod, I hope to finish it this weekend when I have time.
any chance you can do something similar for the "pouches" but maybe like a x3 or x5 version, so each of the 4 pouches add somewhere around 9 - 15 more slots instead of just 3?? i was using another mod that made them all 12 slots, but after 4.14 update the mod won't load and the author unlisted it for some reason. or alternately just add 12 - 20 more slots to regular inventory if possible?
The 100 conveyor capacity mod isn't working and is crashing my game upon loading in. Is this being worked on? Or should it still be working and something is wrong in my game?
I hope you can fix it as soon as possible. I tried to remove several mods that could have caused conflicts, but it didn't work and the game still crashed during the build process.
It is normal that you are having many conflicts with mods, the developers have switched to a Custom Unreal Engine to protect the game from modifications and many of the mods and injectors like UE4SS no longer work and can not be recreated, so there have been almost no updates from any mod author, except for some mods of the experimental branch of UE4SS.
Hello mod author! I was wondering if you plan to keep this mod updated long term? Specifically the Guild Chest version. If not, is there a way you could share how you change the max slots in just the guild chest? I'm personally very interested to know.
I tested this with my friend and work it! I leaved guild and asked him to build a new base and build 1 wooden chest! So he disassemble the palbox. The wooden chest not destroy automatically, after this I placed my palbox and automatically the wooden chest becomes my propety. I tested my guild chest in the new guild and have 400 slots. No necessarily need a new game but a new guild. little boring, but work!
I don't know, I don't play this game anymore and I have never played online, this mod was a request that was asked of me and I was able to do it, the post I have shared with you is all I know, it is possible that someone else who uses it can tell you how to do it.
Unless you actually have a friend to help you out, there is no way this will work in a single player game. I've tried pretty much everything to get this working on an existing save with no luck. Only way is to start a new game from scratch.
it looks like it does not work for the ¨singleplayer¨ coop mode. me and my friend have both the mod in the right folder but it does not work. works fine in pure singleplayer tho.
In principle if both of you have the mod installed when the game loads the mod replaces the original file, so it could not be that any other is loaded unless in that mode the mods can not be used and the ~mods folder is not loaded.
