Thanks to current PC issues amongst other things, work has slowed down a bit, but is still ongoing.
Previous Update (3/1/2025): Won't be working on the mod for a little while. Japanese translation is in limbo, as is fixing up Chinese names, as both translators have gone MIA for the moment. Sorry folks. Focused on terrible health issues and waiting to see when the next major Palworld update comes around in hopes that they fix some important things and give me more to work with for another update. When the next major Palworld update does come, this mod will be switching formats to PalSchema since I'll have to effectively redo the mod from scratch. If you haven't checked out PalSchema yet, I highly suggest you do so. The installation isn't difficult, the functionality is regularly expanding, and it helps future-proof mods.
Current Update (3/4/2025): With the help of some fellow modders, I've stumbled upon a likely solution for Weatherproof to get it working properly. The Japanese translator also got back to me. Minor miscommunication. Just waiting for name translations now. Hopefully 1.0.5 will be a functional hotfix for Weatherproof, and also add full Japanese localization.

Currently Known Bugs:
Base-Buff Passives - Things like Morale Officer, Lumberjack, etc. This is a base-game issue I can do nothing about, in regards to how buffs are applied to base workers. These passives work, they just don't work reliably while assigned to base.
That's peculiar. I don't have any restrictions on who can message me, and someone else already has. I have no idea if you have Discord, but that'd be fine if you do.
Localization is still a work in progress. Chinese is the most difficult since I don't have someone who can translate between English & Chinese for me. It's still planned, at the very least with online translation, but it'll take a bit.
Case anyone was wondering: The new modded traits stay if the pak is removed, though they likely won't do anything sides eating up a trait slot. Pal editor can remove them though if needed.
Can we add passives to pals like pal editor or if we cant does it works with pal editor mod? I really liked this new reworked passives and wanna try it but I really dont have much time to grind xenolords at breeding farms
Pal Editors are external programs last I was aware, so they likely wouldn't be compatible. That said, you can always use Creative Menu instead, which is compatible.
The passives are all either modified from base game or are new ones added to the existing pool, which is how passives in general work. So what you encounter in the wild is always random, meaning you can find the new passives randomly as well.
Hi, I've been download it and put it in to the logicmods files, can anyone tell me how to use this mod in game? Thanks a lot of the work of the creater!
Thanks for the explanation, I have put the file in Palworld > Content > Pal > Content > Paks according to you, when I enter the game I don't know how to use it, my archive is a third party server archive (I'm not a host) I don't know if this affects the use of the mod.

On a server the mod has to be both server-side and client-side for proper use. Client-side gives the proper effects to players, server-side allows the passives to show up.
