idk if you figured it out by now but just in case if you haven't, here's a little guide for you/those who is new to modding: you can use either one of these programs; CurseForge or Vortex (it ultimately doesn't matter which one, just personal preference on your end). I'm currently using Vortex to manage my mods (for Palworld at least) cause I believe its a bit better compared to CurseForge, in my opinion. nexusmods has over 1,000 mods for Palworld as to where CF only has 285. so you choose your pick on that lol. anyways, if you decide to use Vortex to manage your mods, for this instance we'll use Palworld. what you're gonna want to do is; go to google and you're gonna want to look up 'vortex download' and it should be the first link that pops up. you're gonna want to "download latest version" and go through the process of installing the program. after that, once its installed, go back to nexusmods website and on the main menu go to "browse all files". look up whatever game you're wanting to mod, so in this case; Palworld. there should be a menu that says "games" which is where you're gonna look up the game you're wanting to mod. after you find Palworld, find whatever mod you think is cool or good or whatever. look for a button that says 'vortex', click download, and vortex should pop up saying that the mod is installing/installed. hope this guide helped you out. I'm sure i could've shortened it better but it doesn't hurt to add a bit of detail lol. especially since you said you're new to modding, so I apologize for the long post haha.
