Darn. I play on a dedicated server and this would have been a life saver. T_T Failed to realize it doesn't work on one and built one of the mining pits only for it to DC every time it's built.
Sorry, I've been searching for a fix, but I haven't had much luck.
While the bug seems trivial, I haven't been able to narrow down the cause of the problem. I've heard from other modders that they are facing the same issue with their custom buildings, so the issue is more complex than I originally anticipated.
I've been busier than expected with uni as well, so hopefully I can invest more time and fix it later... but unfortunately, I can't prove a concrete ETA so far.
There is an alternative; it is pretty easy to "replace" existing mines if you don't use them. Eg. I can provide a mod where the Level 1 Copper Ore instead produces either Hexolite or Chromite (only one is possible per pit). You probably aren't using this pit since you are late game, so this could be reasonable. BUT If you want BOTH Hexolite and Chromite, then you'd have to override another production pit... but then you'd have to choose something to sacrifice (either wood, Copper Pit Lv 2, stone, sulfur, quartz or coal pit)
It's definitely very extreme. I'll tweak the values in a future update.
If you want to change it yourself in the meantime (I promise it only takes 5 minutes at most!): Go to the folder Palworld/Pal/Binaries/Win64/ue4ss/Mods/PalSchema/mods/MoreMiningPits/buildings/ then open the file pits.json with notepad or your desired text editor.
Under "MOD_HexolitePit" and "MOD_ChromitePit", find "Assignments" and then find "AffectSanityValue", then change it to your desired value. Most normal things in the game have a value between -0.08 and -0.15 (the closer to zero, the lower the SAN debuff). Don't forget the negative sign. You might have to rebuild the pits for the changes to apply after you save this file and reopen the game.
Very sorry, but I'm honestly not too sure. I tried the mod on varying different system configs and game versions, and I just couldn't replicate the crash. UE4SS Experimental is correct.
Is there something wacky about your setup such as running the Gamepass version, running on Linux, perhaps using Vortex autodownloader etc.. ?
i have the same issue from having the game from the xbox gamepass but after weeks of searching no one gives the exact reason that doesnt make it work, i have a mod called creative menu but the keybinds doesnt work and its driving me crazy because this could save me hours of useless gameplay
leaving a comment to say it worked with the files listed in comment bellow so great but it does not show in tech tree you have to search for the chromite or hexolite now i have to spend the next day tearing down my base to make room for this. edit: actually never mind it is found on the far right in the tech tree close to the ancient tech tree still need to get the points.
Hi, love the mod but the mod doesn't seem to work in dedicated servers. When we try to build the hexolite mining site, our game crash. The mod works amazing in single player thoug.
Same! This would be incompatible with certain mods Here's my list of mods I've posted here too, any we might have in common? I could see which bug if I could narrow the list down https://imgur.com/a/cvBtX7p

Does Vortex download all the required files? You need these as well: UE4SS and PalSchema
this mod is amazing.
I tested it briefly on single player. Let me know if it works.

However, I can't guarantee it will work with 100% of all mods that modify the tech tree.

I am currently busy with exams, so expect a fix in maybe ~1-2 weeks
Feel free to ask if you need someone for testing or other!
