Got it working smh. I put other mods in wrong directorys and they seem th have correlated with it. I also reloaded all mods via console and now it works on 1.4 with UE4SS v3.0 on Palworld V0.1.4.1. Awesome work dude I love it :)
Hey, how can i tell if this mod is loading on a dedicated server? i have it in my PalServer\Pal\Binaries\Win64\Mods, I made a mods.txt within the mods folder with this mod on it, and this mod doesn't seem to be working, no mention of it in the server window, seemingly no effect on the game, I've tried 1.4 and 1.3, and other people are mentioning seeing it load in the console? but all i get is a bunch of seemingly unrelated stuff that ends with [00:53:06] Enabling custom events [00:53:06] Starting mods (from mods.txt load order)... [00:53:06] Starting mods (from enabled.txt, no defined load order)... [00:53:06] Event loop start I'm guessing this is a user error but i cant really find anything else on how you're supposed to install mods on a dedi
Hey, any fix for this? Hosting a server with 32GB ram. Of course there's lag here and there, but it's generally smooth. I can comfortably play and host a dedicated server on the same machine. After installing this mod, everything is chugging. Any other tasks on the computer, and the game itself, is hardly playable, and it has micro auto-restarts where it goes down for a few seconds after lagging heavily.
Interesting-- is this version 1.4? With UE4SS 3.0? I haven't done too much testing with 1.4 but it completely changes the hooks, I might take it down. Please try 1.3 and see if that solves your issue
I appreciate this so much. No lag at all on the server, and the mod still works like a charm. Funnily enough I think the spa part doesn't work, and that's what was causing issues with some people that downloaded this mod. Not sure though. Just happy there's no lag involved and at least non-dark types won't stay sad.
On your addendum, did it end up being a single restart or is it happening repeatedly? When you went to 1.3, did you keep UE4SS 3.0? We are considering adding this if it will resolve the issue and work without breaking anything, so just curious thanks!
It's somewhat sporadic. I'll see the memory used by the server go from 9k to 15-20k suddenly, and stay like that. Then the server chugs until it auto-restarts, which is bizarre since the steamCMD doesn't close and I don't have to start it again. I kept UE4SS 3.0, yes.
Ah well that's frustrating. Still happening to me. Not sure if there's something wrong with UE4SS, my computer, the mod, or the game at this point tbh. If you have any fixes or push an update, please let me know!
Yeah, even after doing the "memory leak fixes" which means disabling playerloginpenalty and enemyinvade, It crashed while being the only person on the server sitting in my 1 base doing nothing. Using 15k memory and 30% of my CPU. Something is definitely wrong with my install for it, or something. Now it's just spamming the UE4SS log with "Attempting retry to load sleep it off!" It's driving me nuts lol
Wait do you have the config file set up in the version 1.3 download? In theory there should be defaults, but double check that you have the config file set up, it certainly shouldn't be doing infinite retries to load it-- it should only retry 3 times.

Interesting... did you download version 1.4 or 1.3? 1.4 seems buggier than originally intended-- I may rollback to 1.3 if this is the case. Please try version 1.3 and let me know if it fixes it for you

My dedicated server is managed by indifferent broccoli
Indifferent Broccoli suggest: /Pal/Content/Paks/ <---- Haven't had luck with this path
