I've pushed an update to the mod that should fix the issues you guys are experiencing. Make sure to update UE4SS accordingly aswell because the older xinput version is causing the .pak mod to not work. If you're still having issues:
1. Make sure BPModLoaderMod is enabled in mods.txt
2. Check that AdjustableRankUpRequirementsMod.pak is installed properly
3. You can try updating to the most recent version of UE4SS and see if it fixes issues.
ok i think im just being dumb can you show me how the file should look if its set to needing 2,4,8,16 pals? and do i need it on both client and server?
hello, does this work in mutli player or both server and i should have the mod? i tested it in a dedicated server changed the req to 1/2/3/4 it shows that u need that much for upgrading it but when u condense pal doesnt get the star i really hope someone figure out to make this type of mod works just client sided
You're probably running into the issue where LogicMods aren't loading which I made a temporary fix for until UE4SS 3.1.0 comes out. I've copied the instructions over from my CreativeMenu:
NOTE: This fix should only be installed in the server's files.
2. Navigate back to the Mods folder for your server and replace the main.lua in BPModLoaderMod with the main.lua you just downloaded.
3. Done. Now once your server also has the mod it should be working and if it doesn't work and you're using an external host for your server, you might want to confirm if they support UE4SS or mods.
Make sure you have the AdjustableRankupRequirements mod on both server and client. I've tested this mod on my personal server and it worked fine.
Thank you, works for me with UE4SS 2.5.2-605 (Steam version).
Could you please look into making 4 stars condensation will also rank up pal Work Suitability to level 5?
Right now, 4 stars will only level up existing work suitability by 1 level, for ex Jormuntide Ignis will have rank 5 Kindling at 4 stars. Would love to have my Foxparks to also have rank 5 Kindling after condensing to 4 stars.
I know there's a mod that has all rank 4 work suitability but it is too OP at the start.
Actually I love this idea! I love certain pal so much that my heart would melt when I see them working at my base. But at late game, a lot of cute small pals have been replaced by those giant (not cute and buggy) high work efficiency dragon pal. Would love to see if you can make this idea a reality.

I also thought it would be nice to have a mod like this. I've been looking at different communities but couldn't find relevant content. I'd like to study mod develop to create this mod. If you've found a mod already created, please share it with me.
Is it possible to make a mod that adjusts how much Pals are "worth" in the condenser based on their rank? For example, a 1-Star Pal counts as 4 Pals, a 2-Star as 16, and so on.
I love the concept of the mod. Just wondering, would it be possible to sacrifice no pals (as in, requiring zero pals to make essence)? And if not, do you think there could be a chance to make it work with a completely different item (for example, using paldium fragments or even something like berries as essence, instead of pals)?
Vortex does seem to understand to split up the lua and pak part into the correct folders. Maybe you could split up the mod in a lua and a logic mod part in the download section so one can be a Blueprint Mod and the other be a LUA mod?
Does the mod work correctly for you cuz when i open the config file and change the requirements it has no effect in game (Yes i have saved the changes)
Yes the mod works just fine, you just have to make sure they are installed into the correct folders. It won't work if you just install it with Vortex, because Vortex cant figure out that it's both a Blueprint Mod and a LUA Mod, so install it manually.
Or repackage the installed files so the path of the files looks like this (right click on the mod in vortex and press "Open in File Manager" :
And then change the Mod Type to either Engine Injector or None.
If you try to just rearrange the files in the zip, Vortex just tries to either install it as a Blueprint Mod or a Lua mod and fucks up the Pathing so either the scrips files are misplaces or the .pak file is misplaced, so do it after you install the mod.

1. Download main.lua for BPModLoaderMod from my logicmod-temp-fix branch of UE4SS
