Second the pal box suggestion. Also suggest adding the butchering drops to the Pal Condenser so we can get the drops and upgrade Partner Skills at the same time.
i would donate a fat smooch on the lips to anyone who could find a way to mass butcher in the same way you can mass sell to the black marketeers. would make breeding and farming cattle for the good foods a much more frictionless process.
Right, so I understand the reason why this mod was made, but there is a more practical use for it aside from speeding up the process. If you're running into the issue of butchered Pals (and their precious drops) clipping through the floor, this mod making the process instant seems to prevent that from happening. Aside from the perverse humor of the animation that I laughed at exactly three times (two were more to Youtube reactions than the process itself), I found myself more frustrated that I wouldn't even get the drops as they teleported to the center of the Earth. So if you're a heartless fiend and you need a practical reason to use this mod, here ya go.
Sorry for the weird phrasing here, it's just the way I talk in text.
EDIT: Never mind, it still matters where you do the butchering; had an Eikthyrdeer fall though the floor at my main base, but worked just fine in the farm/crusher base. Hopefully that gets fixed soon, very irritating.
Does this need to be installed server side to work in multiplayer, after installing client side? Additionally would a player without the mod be able to still join the server and butcher at the normal rate?
The skill is handful when you're in need for some materials but too lazy to fast travel and farm Pals, you can just butcher your own real quick and get the items.
What I meant was that during the time I've played Palworld so far, I haven't yet been forced into using this skill to progress, so I'm simply not using that skill. If I absolutely have to later to progress, I'll hate that, and I imagine I'll come back and install this mod and others like it, maybe even make my own, to mask or twist the meaning of this skill so that using it doesn't make me think about its real life counterpart.
sadly, at some point you'll have to as there's a limit on the palbox. so it's either release them(not get any resource) or butcher them to have resources just learned this the hard way just now
Or you can get the mod that GREATLY increases the size of the Palbox "Bigger and Reorganized Palbox" by Pavelk. It requires a fresh save / new game with the bigger sizes, but man it really allows you to just freely capture pals to your heart's content.
This mod here is still useful though, I mean for people who don't like the feeling of killing their pals as well as for the utilitarian people who just want to skip the animation to get it done more quickly. Like, I have both this mod and Pavelk's installed because the animation is obnoxious. I get the developers though it was funny or whatever, and to some people it might be the first time or two, but it's just intrusive any annoying after a while. So thanks Okaetsu. This will help make things easier for me (the utilitarian) AND my fiance (the humanitarian) when we play. x'D
