   i tried the convertor its filled with potential threats, id recommend to wait for an xbox save file already converted or ready to go for easy installation from a previous game pass user.

      Fairly straightforward. Instructions are also in Github. 
      
      Make sure you have the windows gamepass version of game installed. 
      
      Create a new save so there's a save folder for the tool to find. 
      
      Download the .exe from Github and drag the steam save folder that you want to transfer over onto the .exe file and the tool will do the rest.

      keep in mind installing exe files from untrusted sources isnt always the right option, and recently tested this tool.. doesnt seem to work at all. installed after being sketched about the malware warning, made trusted, ran, dragged and dropped steam save file "Iron Fortress" and the save file convertor just closes.
