This mod was created for Offline mode but as the vast majority of this type of mods also usually work fine if installed on the Server and Users in online mode, I cannot offer solutions for the hundreds of different types of Servers that exist because I am not a programmer or Server Administrator. I hope you enjoy the mod and share the experience of how you managed to get the mod working on your respective servers.
For those playing on a dedicated server to increase the number of bases, add 'BaseCampMaxNumInGuild=27' to the servers palworldsettings.ini. I put it next to BaseCampWorkerMaxNum and it worked. I found that BaseCampMaxNum doesn't do anything.
BaseCampMaxNumInGuild: increase number of bases BaseCampWorkerMaxNum : increase number of workers
I use it on my dedicated server and works fine. There is few things you need to do to make it work on dedicated server (see below)
1. install mod on both client and server 2. in server settings.ini file you need to create new line ---> BaseCampMaxNumInGuild=X (X = number of basis) this setting did not exist in my server ini file! the only one I had was BaseCampMaxNum=128 which does not actually work.
So basically your setting file will need to look like below to make it work (see highlighted - RED usless setting but dont delete it juste let it be there, Green actual settings you can play with)
After use the MOD "Option World Settings x10" in the game, when build the new technology (like as: Hexolite Quartz Mine), the game will crash and can't login, could you help fix this issue, thanks
I created a folder as you told me and put the mod in that folder, but it doesn't work. Please let me know if it works properly in the current version of the game. Among the fixed messages above, there is a post that says to modify the settings, but since it is a very old post and is very different from the current settings.ini, I wonder if there are any changes. If I modify this, will it help the mod work?
This happens for not reading the NOTE of the description, the mod is well installed but to unlock the limit of PALS in the bases you have to install another mod which is the Option World Settings x10 and then modify the configuration of the World Settings where you can select the limit of Pals and Bases, these two mods were previously separated but as one is necessary to use the other I have put them together on the same page.
Thank you for your kind reply. This is my last question, if I download Option World Settings x10, will it be applied to 10x right away, or do I need to set it separately to change it to 10x?
After installing Option World Settings x10 you must change the World Settings to the value you wish to have, either in the saved game or in the server's settings.ini file.
If you want to have more options install Option World Settings x10 to take advantage of More Pals and Base Camp Build, you can use the mod you want but these two mods do not need third party programs to work because they work as an official update, I can not assure you that using the experimental injector UE4SS have problems with the mods in the folder ~mods or you create corrupt games, that is a decision that remains in the hands of the users.
stupid question, but does this work for latest vershion? i ask as i just reinstalled palworld and getting all my mods installed again(most of them are your mods)
Just came back to the game and attempted to install these on my dedicated server through a hosting platform. I cannot get mine to go above the 20/4 limit. Do you have complete all the upgrade quests for the changes to show first? I've made sure the mods folder was created correctly for both the client & server side.
very nice.. thank you very much. easy one file download (just the x10 file for me) copied the file to the folder and boom, even more then i was looking for. love it.
really i was just looking to get a few more bases, even though i actually just use some of them as fast travel points, but love the option of being able to make more into actual bases as well.. so, now not only do i have the OPTION of setting up many more bases, i can also change pretty much every other world setting for fun... like changing experience rate to x200, and catch rate to 20 to do a test, very convenient. and yes i tested it on my old old save to test, it now has 20 bases.
i am curious what would happen if an update temporarily breaks the mod though.

Instead, I'm thinking of using this mod to set it up.

I thought all the world settings were fixed to x10.
Thanks!
