Checked ingame and kinetic blast aswell as touch and ray spells are not in any group at all. Maybe just lump these 3 together since they are magical things?
When I used this, I put two weapon types into close, one that already was there shield and another club, Weapon Focus did indeed work, but unfortunately Weapon training stopped working for the club and close weapon training didn't activate on club. So you get bonus from Focus but lose one of your trained weapons if you have more then one group trained.
Is it possible to use your Mod to change the Fighter Weapon Group of a Weapon? I want Harrim to be able to use a Heavy Flail with a Heavy Shield by putting the Heavy Flail into the Polearm Group but that didn't let me use Shield Brace with it.
Weapon groups don't work with the Call of the Wild Sor/Wiz2 spell vine strike. (The spell works instead via only individual natural weapons like claws and bites.) Maybe other spells work similarly, but this is the only one I found.
There's no point in handcrossbows because there's no proficiency feat for handcrossbows. They aren't simple, martial or exotic in the game files, they can't be used. If you could fix that, that'd be awesome
My bad, apparently i was adding wrong feat blueprint , should have added using premade weapon feat from toybox. All good now. If someone needs this is json file with all weapons merged under light blades, so only one feat needed for any weapon. Its enough to add one feat , example: weapon focus daggers and get it for any weapon json file
Installed it and now it kinda works. I am saying kinda, because I still cant use some specific weapons for the characters that should be able to use them. For example, Valerie uses Bastard Sword (listed as heavy blades in the mod groups) , she has Exotic weapon proficiency yet she cant use dueling sword which is also a exotic weapon proficiency and also listed as heavy blade in the mod group. Another example with Harrim. He uses flail and heavy flail (listed as flais and hammers in the mod group), yet he cant use earth breaker also listed as flails and hammers in the mod page. So If anyone is using the same mod help me out here please. Is the mod not working properly or am I missing something? How does all the proficiency/focus things even work? (I know the basics, but are there some other hidden requierments that has to be met?), In Harrim case I thought it is becaues he does not have martial weapons proficiency but why he can use flails? Arent those also martial weapons? I really would like to know if the mod is working properly for the latest version of the game and I am just missing something or not. I think this mod doesn't work for proficiencies, only for focuses and other feats affecting weapons you can already use. I really don't have any opinion whether it's logical or not.
Harrim can use flails because they are his deity's favoured weapon and he's a cleric (or Warpriest if you play with call of the wild mod). Hence he can't use other martial weapons nor exotic weapons.
