If this is still developed, please be aware there's a bug in Patch.cs.  The entire if check that modifies speed based on Encumberance or Game Mode does nothing because anything that happens inside of it is immediately overwritten by the last line.  I have a fixed version I can send if you need

    Hi,

    I don't know if you're still active but I have a question.

I see a lot of people whining (yes, they use this word for those who speaks about immersion and ask for walking speed so I use it too, it's fair enought right?) about the party being too slow but I see also a lot of immersive players like me who just wants walking animations back using Keyboard/Mouse.

Because actually, you only can walk pace using a controller that is a real SHAME for a game on PC especially when we consider that this kind of game generally work like single click walk and double clic run.

So, my question is : Is it possible to make a mode that allow players using Keyboard/Mouse to walk (with animations) when single click on a destination and run (with animations) when double click please?

Developers use the shi**y excuse that they are working on the second game and they will not do anything more on this one and so they can be sure that I will not buy their next game.

If you can help immersive players with that like you helped casual gamers with the original mod it can be really nice.
    Thanks.

How is it a shitty excuse for them to decide that they are going to focus on their next game? It's pretty entitled of you to think that they should endlessly keep adding more and more to a game long after its release considering that the sales for the old game are no longer really paying for any work they are doing for it. It makes sense that they should pick a line, and say, okay, we've supported this game as well as we can, now it's time to take the experiences and lessons we've learned make something new with them.

You do realise of course that in arrogantly deciding that they no longer deserve your money for their new game (which, by the way, seems highly unlikely they were ever going to get from you anyway, given that you seem to feel they shouldn't even be developing a new game, but rather continue to upgrade the old one at no cost to you), in doing so, you are rather childishly punishing all the people working at the studio for the choices of perhaps one or two of them. The people spending the time making the graphics for the game have no control over when support ends. Same for the people programing the music. Many of the people working on the game don't have control over that choice. Your petulant self entitled threat to withold money till you get want you want affects all of them, in fact, it likely affects the people who have no control over that choice than the few people who do.

It's a shitty excuse, because it wouldn't take more than an hour to implement a keybind that changes the animation from running to walking.

You're willing to give an hour of your time for free? Great! I have something I need doing that'll take only 30 minutes, give me your email so I can give you the details and have you do it

And with that statement, maramot you have shown how little you actually know about coding - if its so easy write a mod to do it. Come back when you actually know how to write code and you understand that the "simple" thing you are asking for may be tied to 20  other things that will be broken so then they have to fix those and so on.

No answer from the mod author but some other whining about facts we post.

      It's a shitty excuse to don't add a simple walk/run toggle, that's all.
Animations are there and the game already had it earlier, they just remove it because of the controller support. Again, PC players are stuck with casual players using controllers.

Those who says it take many time to add walk toggle are those who really don't know anything about coding.

A last thing. I have left my original comment for the MOD AUTHOR, so I don't care or have time for whining kids. If you don't like my comment, just move away.

'...mod will Increase actual amount of character's feet...'

Can someone take a stab at translating the author's comments into English that can be properly understood? I have no idea what this mod is supposed to do; I'm guessing it will not turn characters into centipedes.

The purpose is simple. faster move without break animation :)

Move faster (base speed manipulation), as opposed to the Fast Travel mod, which speeds up time outside of combat and results in some strange looking animations, and stuff like those damned annoying small dogs yapping even more frequently.

This mod does what it does without the incompatibilities and potential bugs that are still open for Fast Travel, so if someone simply wants slightly "cheaty" (i.e. no timescale increase, which nevertheless comes with its own annoyances as OutriderIT pointed out above) faster non-combat movement speed, this mod here still seems the way to go. No offense. :)

This isn't hard to figure out. He's not writing in enigma code, just mistyped a few words. Feet in this case is meant as a measurement of distance, ergo, x foot stride length, not a reference to a body part. He's just saying the characters will move further over the same increment of time than they would in a game without this mod.

This mod is great, thank you so much for it! My character always seemed like they were underwater, and it was driving me crazy. Now I can finally enjoy the game.
