Anybody know why the portraits only fill top right quarter of photo frames in Advisors' screen? Fine though at other places, albeit not as sharp as built-in ones. Same happens with portraits from other mod packs.
How does one change the portraits of an existing game without starting a new game? I know you can add these in a new game but my current game has the blah defaults that came with Kingmaker and I do not like them at all!
Hi! You can use the reroll service with the Pathfinder Society lady (Anoriel Eight-Eyes, should be at your tavern) to change your character portrait. :) (And everything else about your character. Keep in mind, if this matters to you, that you will be able to re-choose your alignment and it will reset your previous alignment choice dots on the grid.)
How did you find such good backgrounds? I'm trying good ol' Google Image Search, but can't find anything that suits the images I want to use for my characters.
Kudos, endorsed and tracked! I am seriously impressed of your editing skills. Now the game finally got more portraits that are in-line with the original art direction. I wish I could have had your standard on my Goblin Portrait Pack.
Hello again! It's funny you ask me to add Shalelu. Since I've now 'finished' the iconics (at least until the Advanced Player's Guide for 2e comes out), I've been considering doing portraits for other Wayne Reynolds characters of Pathfinder. Ameiko, Shalelu, and Shensen are great examples of this. I could even branch out beyond Wayne Reynold's art and put up some other artwork from various adventures and books. Not sure if all of that should be included in this same pack or if I aught to create a separate pack. I'll have to do some thinking on it. I am unfortunately a bit busy at the moment, but I'll try to get Shalelu onto a nice background before long for you at the very least! :)
That is indeed an amusing coincidence :-) I am very grateful to you for creating this package, so take all the time you need. I did try to do it myself with GIMP but when I remove the white color it removes either to much (because of the anti-aliasing of the image) or to less. I did not find a satisfying middle ground.
Do you have any kind of trick for this or do you redraw some parts of the character after removing the white color?
I don't use gimp, but usually I isolate the character image and cut away the white like you do. I try to leave a very slight white outline. I then zoom really close in and just erase the rest of the white by hand, very slowly. Takes a little while!
Second: Could you consider to add the 2nd edition Seoni with an appropriate background image: https://pathfinderwiki.com/mediawiki/images/9/97/Seoni_2nd_edition.jpg
I'm more familiar with the GoG client of the game, however I believe Steam also has access to the portrait folder directly from in the game. An easy way to access this folder is to launch Pathfinder: Kingmaker, start New Game, and on the page where you can choose your portrait, click the small (very tiny) head and shoulders icon underneath the portrait grid on the right of your screen. This should change the view of the portraits from a grid to showing only one portrait at a time. There should be a button that allows you to open the portrait folder from there.
Will hopefully have them up soon, been knocking out the PF2 images out pretty quickly (I've been going in order as they appear in the core rulebook). So that means Ezren *should* be last but maybe I'll knock him up in priority :)
