Excellent mod, this should be native to the game - it's that big a quality of life change. So, I shall give back a little:
HOW TO USE THIS MOD ON STEAM DECK Bubble Buffs is loaded with the game UI if you're in Mouse + Keyboard mode (as opposed to controller mode), but I have found that it's actually pretty easy to switch schemes. You will need to find a guide for installing UMM mods on Steam Deck and then install Bubble Buffs.
Set back buttons on the deck; I have mind set up as Ctrl and F5 on the left and F10 and F8 on the right (so I can click in both top back buttons to bring up the console and the bottom ones are quicksave and quickload so I can easily do the rest of this guide). This is super easy to do, just hit the steam button while WOTR is active and go to control scheme, then hit X to remove the command that is there, and Add command > Keyboard
It just so happens that hitting one of the back buttons now ALSO prompts you to change control schemes to Mouse + Keyboard. While in Mouse + Keyboard mode, pushing any face button will prompt you to switch to Controller mode.
If you load the game IN MOUSE + KEYBOARD mode, Bubble Buffs loads. You can then use the touch screen to set up your buff routine, and slap dat BUFF button. Hit a face button and confirm then you are now fully buffed for 10 minutes or whatever and running around with controller mode.
When you need to buff again, press a back button > press Steam + X buttons to bring up the keyboard > hit Enter
You will switch to Mouse + Keyboard mode
Hit the F5 back button to quicksave, then F8 to quickload
You're already in M+K mode so Bubble Buffs loads with the UI
Smash dat buff button and subscribe
Hit a face button to swap back to controller mode.
I hope this helps, since it was heartbreaking for me to read that I couldn't use this on the Steam Deck and I refuse to spend like 20 minutes trying to buff myself using controller mode.
Can any explain how this mod is supposed to work when using a controller? I don't see any icons in the spellbook area that would allow me to use it, but UMM says it's installed.
The short answer: it doesn't. When I remember to use it, as a fellow controller player, I toggle keyboard/mouse controls and hope the buffs options appear on the menu for me to click on. Then I toggle the controller controls and continue playing.
When you get too many companions, the portraits start extending off the screen, and I can't figure out how to move it. I can no longer choose my knight commander to receive buffs, because the game is prioritizing showing me Seelah's horse and Aivu.
First of all this is an awesome mod and saves a lot of time. The ignore existing buffs option however doesn't seem to be working it overrides existing ones and ignores others. Is there any way to fix that?
Edit: Nevermind I had the option toggled because I thought it worked the other way around, my bad.
Feature request: simultaneous casting when the manual casting / spell animations option is turned on. The current implementation seems to be only one character casts at a time.

NOTE: as far as I know this is working fine on the latest version of Wrath (as of 25th October, 2023).
If you are seeing issues please don't post things like "mod is no longer working, not supported" - this is patently untrue.
I welcome anyone to provide good bug reports ideally on the Owlcat discord.
