Hey so, I have a fully updated mod manager, and the latest version of this, and it still is giving me an error of it needing a restart. Anybody know how to fix it?
So I have a question about how this interacts with the standalone version of Treasure of the Midnight Isles (where there are mandated party restarts). I'm on my second journey with this mod installed and now I'm seeing quite a few "no items in your level range" starting to pop up (atm in the Useable category).
I presume this is because I've "exhausted" the amount of random items that can appear, and I do seem to recall seeing that message at the very end of my first run/journey of TotMI. So what I'm wondering is if the "no item can be repeated" feature of this mod can either made a setting/toggle or if it can be made to "reset" in the Standalone version of TotMI (either by default or setting) since most items will be lost between runs (unless they're sold to the Greedy Chest - which is only available starting on the second run).
Not sure if this is so much a bug report as much as it is an observation about how this might interact with TotMI, especially on the second/third/fourth journey that players undertake. And no big deal if not. But is something I just noticed and thought it was worth bringing up.
Can't seem to equip any of the stat boosting loot from this, the Charisma tiara or the Belt of Giant Strength are unequippable with no reason listed why. If I force equip it through toybox, I get no stat increase
edit: the problem stems from Automatic Bonus Progression, not this mod
Hey, I keep getting the "Need to Restart" with the red button on this mod. I just noticed it also has 3 "!!!" and it stands for "Errors" but I'm not sure how to fix it :(
hey body, i 've got the exactly same questions as you have. while i found that the author who made the "mod menu" post the lastest update of(1.3.2) in on git hub, and after installing that version of mod menu, it seems the "randonequipment" can work eventually. here is the URL: https://github.com/WittleWolfie/ModMenu/releases/tag/v1.3.2
As of latest DLC, ver 2.0.6 does not load properly even with version 1.3.1 of Mod Manager. Trying to load it increases load time during game start up, and if game doesn't time out, UMM menu loads saying RE has an error.
I seem to having the most issues when I try loading it with Toy Box (latest update) but even without Toy Box, error persists.
Edit: Just want to say this mod is a must have on this game. Absolutely have been enjoying it in earlier versions.
Current available version of ModMenu in nexus is 1.3.0 though? After the game loads up the manager shows red button with !!! mark beside "Random Equipment" due to ModMenu.

Yeah that is the way it was designed. I'm kind of not digging it myself after some more lengthy play testing honestly. I think I'm going to redo the loot tables some.
Thanks, but I actually prefer potions or scrolls over equipment which for the most part don't do much except sell for money, personally I think maybe a parallel calculation of the two would be better, or could you provide a button to make the distinction?
Yeah, I like it myself. Putting the 5% chance of the container having loot and then 10% chance of it containing usables after that makes the chance 1 out of 200. That is way too low lol. (on a standard chest)

upd - tried that, Mod Finder doesn't find WrathModMaker
I'm sorry you are confused about WathModMaker. You only need that if you are trying to compile the game. You only need the random equipment mod, along with the Mod Menu Mod to play. That's it.
EDIT: My bad, just had to reinstall for some reason.
I am not getting anything since the 2.06 update. I played for awhile before wondering where the random loot was and then checked by opening a chest multiple times with the % stuff showing up in the log and when it succeeded I got nothing. Just what I had confirmed was in the chest. Playing on the default settings.
EDIT: Tried rolling back and am current in the gray garrison basement but nothing dropping from the test chest no matter what settings I use.
EDIT 2: OK I reinstalled and its working now. Though the initial text basement box I was using apparently doesn't which was causing some confusion. Not sure why it rolls for that box but doesn't do anything but I am sure it was intentional. Probably just has a container type you didn't want or something. Sorry to bother you.

Also no instruction what to do with it, how install, it's not zip, but a folder with 2 subfolders and no readme.
You install it just as you would with any other mods. Use Unity Mod Manager or Mod Finder.
What do you mean it's not a zip? It's definitely is a zip... where are you downloading from?
