My first time using UMM - I've followed the installation instructions, however, whenever I try to install any mod, it gives me this error: Modnamehere.zip is not supported. Not just your mod, alls mods ): Any ideas?
Love this pack, I will definitely use some of those portraits in future playthroughs! (In particular, I've been meaning to play as a kitsune for a while and seeing that awesome kitsune necromancer portrait might have finally given me some inspiration for the character :D But I will definitely use some of the other portraits as well!) The only thing I would personally really want if you're planning to add more portraits is to also have some female dwarf and oread portrait variety, I swear, those are the most difficult to come by. Also if you ever happened to create a female variant of the gnome trickster portrait, that'd be awesome. (I'd try to create them myself instead of pestering you but I can't afford the subscription to Midjourney and free image generators are garbage)
These are really good by AI standards. They feel so much more like the game than many others. I particularly like the Saint Knight and Tiefling Knight. Not enough proper armor fems in this game. I especially like the Androgynous look on the Saint. Could use it for either without batting an eye.
If you ever make an Assimar Hellknight Necromancer with long Black Hair and Blue Eyes It will become my new personal fave for my main character.
Swords are definitely a little rough though. The "blunt" weapons look better by comparison since a little roughness doesn't hurt as much. Not that it can really be helped. Ai is pretty untrained at swords.
Thanks so much for the portrait. Looks so good in game. Used portramatic to crop it myself so don't worry about that. I went with no.7 after some AI editing to cover the awkward right arm and blurry "weapon" with a magical energy effect. Was the only thing my meager AI skills could manage lol. Going to do a playthrough with it now! Though I'll be going with a Dhampir which is why I chose one of the ones with normal eyes. I even kinda grew to like the janky right eye after staring at it for so long. Has a certain character to it. Like some people I've known.
You are definitely the best I've seen at making these kinds of portraits even among those using the same AI.
Oh wow, these portraits are really good. What kind of prompts did you use for the Oread portrait? I'm having a really difficult time forcing Midjourney to make Oreads.
Thank you! For Oreads, try incorporating "living statue" or some variation thereof (ex. a stalwart living statue warrior with crystalline hair) into your prompt somewhere. Hope this helps!
Yo these are pretty amazing. Blend very well with the games og art style and none of that weird uncanny valley effect with the realism or the overly saturated colors and over intricate designs.
