Isn't the permanent size increase for weapons quite overpowered? WOuld it make sense to add the disadvantages of enlarge person so a -2 size penalty to Dexterity (to a minimum of 1), and a -1 penalty on attack rolls and AC due to its increased size.
Well the -2 penalty to Dexterity is already pretty big, as Dexterity is a very important stat for any class. Plus, the reason why it is good but not overpowered is because it does not come with the 10 feet reach that the Enlarge spells gives (for example), which is its most powerful feature, as it allows you to attack enemies as they come into melee range of you, or it can prevent you from getting attacked if you come into melee range of a Large target. The increase of weapon damage is actually not that bad: +0-2 for small weapons, +1-4 for Medium one handed weapons, and +1-6 for Large weapons. That is a big boon, but you quickly get similar boons pretty early on in the game, due to the items you find or Mythic abilities you obtain, plus it still isn't as powerful as the boons that the Aasimar receives. On top of that, while they are great for melee, they are very poor for ranged, thus forcing you to go full melee and seriously hampering your ranged capabilities. You could give your companions some ranged weapons, but even then every little bit helps, and it is helpful to have a character with both good melee but also decent range for the occasion. Plus, on top of that, all the races in Wrath of the Righteous have been made slightly better, hence why this version of the Minos does not have the -2 Penalty to Intelligence or Wisdom that the Pathfinder tabletop Minos race has. But even then, compared to the other options, you can just see this as a specialized race for melee combat, with its benefits but also its downsides. So no need to feel bad for the other races, as they are still comparible, so feel free to go ham with them :)
I've kept playing with this and it's exactly as you said - it actually becomes quite balanced after a bit. Many thanks for breaking down your reasoning!
Oh, finally racial mods are starting to come out for the game! Can you please tell me if you plan to continue? I would really like to see lore races like catfolc, ratfolc and android not shown in the game
It seems that the riding animation is missing or wrong. When riding an animal companion, the character is merging with her horse and becomes a six-feet centaur...
Oh we will. I will second that I am excited to see someone make a custom race.
Honestly Shocked how little people have done with races. There are legit a bunch of things people love that just haven't been added whether its homebrew or not. I have to figure its just a lot more work than it sounds. Like how no one has added alternate racial traits for Aasimar.
Thanks for the great work in expanding the WOTR experience.
Happy to hear that :) I'm also surprised, as I have a mod for Kingmaker that adds the drow and many other races. Sadly, due to limited time and having a full job, I will not be making a mod for that. But at the very least I hope that people can use the changes I made in my mod as an example on how they could do that themselves instead. However, I'm glad to hear you are having a good time playing with the minos!
You can also follow the link in my description for their game statistics for Pathfinder 1st edition, should you be able to find a group that plays with that system. As someone who has played tabletop for over 20 years, I recommend it as the most extended and detailed roleplaying system out there, which makes sense as it is essentially Dungeons & Dragons 3rd edition under a new name due to copyright, but extended and polished. D&D 5th edition is fun as well, but it is a bit simplistic (though it works great with homebrew! https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/nielsdejong/legacy-of-the-dragon-a-dragon-themed-supplement-for-5e ), whereas Pathfinder 1E is I think the better and more complete system (Pathfinder 2nd edition is a simplified version of it, and not as much fun I think). To have the best experience while playing tabletop adventures :)

Either way, fantastic mod.
And thank you! Much appreciated :)
