Does Samurai Fitness work with the Bastard Sword? Because it only mentions light or one-handed slashing weapons unlike all of the other parks in the tree that also mentioned specifically the bastard sword.
What earthly good is a Samurai class without katanas? Yes, longspears and bows were the Samurai's primary weapons, but come on man..... katanas.... I can't believe nobody's added those yet. It's not like there aren't already plenty of 3d models out there....
I'm sorry I haven't responded earlier, I have taken a break from the game and just seen that it's been updated. I can see the class properly in the class selection as well as loading an old save without being kicked back to the main menu. Do you have any other mods that could be outdated?
Yeah I have a stupid amount of mods applied, going to uninstall, verify integrity and reinstall one at a time. I'll let ya know what i come up with. Thanks for the reply.
Not sure why but I cannot get the class to show up no matter what I do. I did a complete reinstall after a total wipe from my system, installed only the Samurai mod and still no class on selection.
Sorry for the wait. I have taken a look and right now the class is only showing when Tabletop Tweaks Core, Base and Flanking is active as well. I'll see if I can remove this dependency in case there is someone that's not using those mods.
Is there a way to privately message Fulmods to see if he intends on updating this mod? Besides loving the mod, I'd rather not have to replay my entire game from scratch.
Should this mod allow taking Fencing/Slashing Grace on level one (human) with weapon focus as the first feat since it says Samurai Finesse counts for Weapon Finesse? I've tried with a Rapier with no luck.
Also I'm curious about the focus on the Bastard Sword instead of Dueling, the Dueling sword would seem to fit more the Samurai class? Also the Dueling sword seems to better from the PoV of being finesseable?
I have been waiting for someone to create a Samurai class! So would we be able to wield the dueling sword as 2H because that's would be similar to holding a Katana!
From the testing I've done you can but I'm also running weapon focus plus which groups things together using the fighter weapon group (which bastard sword and duelling sword share a group). It seems to work just fine at least for triggering certain aim and the weapon training
