Doesn't work with Finesse Training :( That said this solves a bunch of issues I had with falling into the same weapons on every playthrough. Polearms and short blades ftw!
Is there a way to simply place all the weapon types under 1 category for a 1 and done deal (yea i know cheap as can be) but i hate having to go back n respec just to optimize my build cause i found a new weapon
Modfinder is saying that this link is still v1.2.3 and it wants to update to v1.2.3.2. Don't know if this is a me problem, but even in the doc that I download (info.json) it still says v1.2.3
From the Github version page (fixed it for me, just extract, make the change in notepad, and then rezip):
For anyone having this issue it looks like in the Info.json the version in the latest release is still listed as 1.2.3. If you open the file in Notepad and change the version to "1.2.3.2" it should fix the notification.
Thank you. I could understand if it was about weapon specialization, that is... well... more specialized. But why in the world if my character is good using a spear it should become weaker when using a glaive that is basically a spear with a differently shaped tip? This should be the way the game works by default. Good job.
There is a feat called Crusader's flurry that allows flurry of blows with your deities weapons. The problem is that deities weapons are very limited and very often redundand. Is it possible to to expand the deities weapons, maybe have each deity have more than 1 weapon or make the feat use the weapon focus weapon you picked?
Not sure if it's an oversight or intended restriction.
Started as Dual-Cursed Oracle, picked Farmhand background for Weapon Proficiency (Scythe). According to Mod's description I should be able to wield other Heavy Blades-type of weapons like Greatsword, right? But it's red / "can't be equipped by this character" in the inventory. Same with Bastard Sword and I assume every other Heavy Blade if I got proficiency for a specific weapon of that group from a background.
I could be wrong, but I don't think it's either an oversight or an intended restriction. I don't think the mod was aimed at changing how proficiencies work at all, just feats that grant bonuses to specific weapons. In anycase, it's a bit more of a stretch to think a farmhand would be proficient in all heavy blade weapons because they know how to use a scythe than it is to think a person well trained in the use of one weapon could carry that knowledge over to similar weapons that they are already trained in using.
Good idea, good intention, but this mod involves playing all the time in game with UnityModManager and other mods like yours Weapon Focus Plus, and others ToyBox...etc.
In my case, I make the modifications I want and that do not require playing with UMM, then I uninstall UMM and the mods with it ! :)
Speaking of... the Readme description says "Download the Tabletop Tweaks mod". Is that just a copy-paste error, or does the Github version require the Tabletop Tweaks mod? That Github page has very little explanations. I should of course have asked that in the Github issues, but will do so now.
EDIT : I see the mod author has never answered even one question either here, in the bug reports, nor on Github. ... That sets my trust level to below zero, though I love the concept of this mod.
The mod doesn't seem to work with the current version. I'm not sure if im doing something wrong or not. I am using unity mod manager 0.27.8a, the latest version on his Github 1.2.3, on the latest version of the game which appears to be 2.2.1a. Anyone know if im doing something wrong? all my other mods seem to be working. Currently running Toybox Bubblebuggs Expanded Content TTT base and cord and Visual adjustments2
