kind of late but you have to right click on an empty space and select “show hidden folders” then there should be an app data folder that is now there, go in, find (i think) it was the sega folder, persona 5 and paste the downloaded save file
if only i didn't miss akechi dead line, previously i didn't know that i need to raise his confidant rank to atleast 8 to unlock the royal content, I only do it till like 7, for maruki and kasumi i deliberately push their confidant rank because the game tell us explicitely about their dead line. but there is no warn whatsoever about this stupid AKontolChi :) gonna say good bye to raised confidant, guess i'm gonna do it all over again after the nijima arc :(
Thank you for save my time life. i never know this game need to maruki social max, Then i got original ending and don't feel full in this game. btw thank you again!
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS I ENDED UP CORRUPTING MY SAVE DATA RIGHT BEFORE MARUKI's PALACE & NEVER GOT TO FINISH P5R, also p.s these also seem to work with the switch version, both in an emulator and on hardware
i drag and drop the savedata folder into my AppData\Roaming\SEGA\P5R\Steam\_user-id_\savedata file location, but when i load up P5R, i still only have my old saves. Anyone know what im doing wrong?
backup your saves if you want to keep them (the DATA## folder is the save slot and the DATA.DAT file is the actual save),
move the save(s) you want to use into the save folder (I only imported the NG+ and overwrote DATA01\DATA.DAT, so maybe you need to have the game create a save folder for each slot you want to use??? didn't apply to me but couldn't hurt),
load a save and save your game (this makes your local save the newest),

I was very frustrated realizing that I missed a lot of content during the 3rd semester just because I ignored Maruki.

Make sure you have at least 1 save already,
turn off cloud data in steam,
backup your saves if you want to keep them (the DATA## folder is the save slot and the DATA.DAT file is the actual save),
move the save(s) you want to use into the save folder (I only imported the NG+ and overwrote DATA01\DATA.DAT, so maybe you need to have the game create a save folder for each slot you want to use??? didn't apply to me but couldn't hurt),
load a save and save your game (this makes your local save the newest),
then turn steam cloud back on
