Pharaoh: A New Era debug/cheat menu
The DebugMenu Mod for Pharaoh: A New Era enhances your gameplay by providing a debug/cheat menu, allowing you to access and activate various cheat codes and debug options. This mod is packaged with BepInEx to ensure easy installation.
This was made possible by the open-source mod by Gecko10. They are no longer updating the mod, so I took it upon myself to bring back the debug/cheat menu for this game.
Features:
Toggleable Debug Menu: Using F1, easily enable or disable the debug menu. (A reload of the save file is required when enabling or disabling)
The debug menu allows access to various cheats, including achievements, monument step skipping, removing/adding deben, and more.
In the game, you will find a new button in the left UI bar. Click the pink "!" button to access the menu.
Installation:
1. Download the zip file of the DebugMenu Mod from the Nexus Mods page.
2. Extract the contents of the downloaded archive into the root directory of Pharaoh: A New Era.
(If updating the mod or installing alongside other Bepinex mods): You only need to drag the "\BepInEx\plugins" files from the zip download into your "Pharaoh A New Era\BepInEx\plugins" folder and replace files if prompted.
After launching the game, the Debug option will be added automatically. Look for the pink "!" on the left UI bar after loading into your game.
You can disable the debug menu by pressing F1 and toggling the debug menu or removing the mod files from the game's directory.
If toggling the debug menu using F1, a reload of the save file will be required for changes to take effect.
No Debug Menu?:
Ensure the contents of the zip folder are in the game's root directory. (Usually located at "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Pharaoh A New Era").
Check the configuration options using F1 to make sure the debug menu is enabled.
Check "Pharaoh A New Era/BepInEx/LogOutput.log" for any error messages that can help in diagnosing issues.
