Is there any possibility that the "Combat Abilities Anytime" option could be messing with Veteran's Recovery/Constant Recovery? I see it rarely on characters, but not during combat or even when they've lost Endurance.

i just cant change the stats of any Companion, i tried it with very different approaches but nothing worked. I just wanted too change the Stats of the Main Character. I play the German Version and i even tried it in German and English with all Stats but nothing happens. I searched the internet and questioned ChatGPT but nothing worked. I am at a loss here. I hope im just dumb or something like that. And no, the guide didnt help me.

How do I edit companions attributes? I can't find the companionStats.json anywhere. Do I need to create it? It's not clear in the instructions.

Could this mod be affecting the audio settings? This is the only mod I'm using, and the audio sliders in the menu don't do anything. Volume is at max regardless of what I do with the sliders (including putting them all at 0%). I can only change the volume using the OS audio settings, nothing in-game works at all...

Any chance of getting the cipher focus changes in? There's a mod that gave the option of reverting the max focus nerf, the starting focus nerf, or both. But it stopped updating and says to just use IE instead. https://www.nexusmods.com/pillarsofeternity/mods/106?tab=description
So it'd be great to have that here as an option if possible. -
Disable Non-Stealth Detection Penalty doesn't seem to be working for me, I manually removed the detection penalty in my assembly-csharp.dll with dnspy and then I was able to detect the tent in the starting area without scouting.
-
Actually I think the tent in the starting area might be made so you have to scout.
-
Wait no its detectable without scouting.
-
This doesn't seem to be working for me either, what did you do to fix it?
-
not working for me either, couldn't detect the stuff in the tent or the floor traps in the ruin without scouting

It's Control + F10. That's the default keybind, below is a quote from the Unity Mod Manager FAQ (https://www.nexusmods.com/site/mods/21?tab=posts) about changing the keybind.
"Q: Ctrl + F10 does not work on laptop.
A: Try the function key combination.
A: Additional hotkey can be set in the UMM menu, by default it is empty.
Or in Game_Data\Managed\UnityModManager\Params.xml file set
<keyCode>BackQuote</keyCode> for example."
Just to explain, the Params.xml file you need will be in the POE folder, wherever you have it saved, at this filepath:
...\Pillars of Eternity\PillarsOfEternity_Data\Managed\UnityModManager
Opening Params.xml, the first five lines are:
<Param xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">
<Hotkey>
<keyCode>None</keyCode>
<modifiers>0</modifiers>
</Hotkey>
To edit the hotkey for opening the UMM menu, you change "None" to whichever key you prefer. E.g., <keyCode>L</keyCode> or <keyCode>Q</keyCode> -
Thank you!

I uninstalled unity mod manager in unitymodmanager.exe and reinstalled it and it came back.
-
Uh, what happens if I don't have a params.xml file to edit?

I think one of the features doesn't work or I'm misunderstanding it: I disabled the -4 penalty for discovering secrets when I'm not sneaking. In a place where I already knew there is a secret, I couldn't uncover it when I walked past. I walked past again while sneaking and that's when I uncovered it.
Now the question is: does the feature not work or does it just roll the dice again when I sneak past it? Or is it something completely different?

Is it possible to cap max stat values to 35 like in PoE2, for example?
