    So to get the talents upon leveling above 16 with this mode you`re supposed to instlal the: Lvl24 with Class Progression Tables- no xp limit to combat-camping supplies. However the UMM does not want to install it (that mode is from 2018 so frankly I am not surprised).
    Anyone know how to get that one working so you can enjoy the talents gains after L16 when using this mode to lvl up further ?

      You don't have to install talents via UMM, you can just drop them in the game folder.

      From the original mod:
      "if you want to earn talents/abilities/spells after lvl 16,
      Copy .unity3d files to ../Pillars of Eternity\PillarsOfEternity_Data\assetbundles\prefabs\objectbundle"

      I have done that myself and I was never able to get the talents to show up. I tried different mods and combinations but that part would never work, so I gave up on that and just released the lvl cap and camp supplies as UMM (so that it can be combined with other mods) and hope that one day someone will figure it out :)

    Hi man! First thanks for the mod.

    If the cap is now 40 what things in the game scale with level? As far as I could read in your mod description, to earn new talents or abilities it is required to install another mod.

    Kind regards,

      Hi!
      Each level past 16 you will get skill points (mechanics, stealth etc.), HP/Endurance and spells (for casters). Unfortunately I could never get extra abilities/talents from other mods to work, with or without this mod, so I didn't want to include that.

      The benefit of UMM version of this mod is that you can combine it with other mods. It will change the level cap and max camp supplies once the game loads, does not require you to replace the Assembly-CSharp.dll and it can be turned on and off at any time during playthrough. You can try it with other mods, even the ones that do replace the dll file and it should still work.

      UMM version doesnt work me... I cant get more than 2 camping supply on hard (old save, game started without the mod active). Also, info.json tells me it is for old version

      {
        "Id": "LevelCap",
        "DisplayName": "LevelCap40",
        "Author": "zacko13",
        "Version": "1.0.0",
        "GameVersion": "3.7.1.1411",
        "AssemblyName": "LevelCap40.dll",
        "EntryMethod": "LevelCap40.Main.Load"
      }

      not sure if you just forgot to update.

      Thanks for a reminder, I'll change that version but it should still work, that's just informative and it can be blank as well.
      I just tested with some older saves I had (before I made this mod, hard mode as well), uninstalled the mod and reinstalled it, verified files with steam (to make sure I have nothing else modifying the game), and I could not get it to NOT work.

      If it starts inactive, can you activate it in the main menu before loading a save file or do you get some kind of error message?
      Maybe UMM update?

    Hi! Thanks for the mod. As someone who doesn't know much about this stuff, will this "break" the game? As in, will I just become so OP and destroy everything? Or does everything scale? I'm interested in trying this in a new playthrough for fun, but if it makes things TOO easy I wont.

    Thanks!!

      You're welcome!
      I wouldn't say it would break it, mainly because of the way exp works in the game, but I guess that's subjective too. This mod doesn't change the exp/bestiary gain, it won't make you level faster or gain crazy exp, it simply uncaps the level cap (default max level is 16). In my latest playthrough I managed to get just about to lvl 19 (I think I missed a couple of things and I could have hit 19).

      I think as far as " game breaking", the 99 camp supplies make things easier as you can rest more often without looking for supplies.

      You can always turn the mod off. During my testing, I haven't had any issues turning it off/on in the middle of the playthrough, it will just cap you to level 16 if you're above and cap your camping supplies to default values.

      Look up https://pillarsofeternity.fandom.com/wiki/Difficulty_scaling for enemy scaling options. At certain points during the game, you can choose to scale enemies up if you feel like you're OP.

    Please consider releasing this as a patch to the assembly (with UMM or Patchwork). Releasing the full Assembly-CSharp.dll is kind of hostile to other mods. (If everyone did it, users could only ever install one assembly mod). Also full assembly mods are only compatible with a single game version, while patch mods are likely to be compatible with future versions as well (v3.8.0 is currently in public beta).

      Thanks for the advice!
      I'll take a look into it and see if I can figure out how to do that, if it's not out of my capabilities, I'll add it as a patch as well.
      I was aware of the issues with multiple mods and dll, but since I only wanted supplies and level cap removed in this playthrough, I thought I'd share what worked for me in case anyone else just needs the same.
