About this mod
This mod replaces Disposition Scaling with scaling based on character level, or abilities start with maximum scaling (see detailed description).

- Changelogs
This mod intends people to play without paying too much attention about the consequences of their RP choices on their priests and paladins abilties. Basically, you will get their maximum effect independantly from your Disposition points.
Depending on the abilities you either get the maximum effect from the start or it will be scaling until character level 20.
If you have already played the game several times and want to recruit an henchman from a Priest/Paladin subclass with a dubious morality without having to play the story this way, this mod may be for you.
Paladin - Faith and Convicition :
Original game : This ability gives you +8 all defenses and scale with disposition up to +10.
Mod : This ability gives you +10 all defenses from the start (given the small scaling, implementing a scaling with level felt unecessary).
Paladin - Deep Faith :
Original game : This ability gives you +12 all defenses and scale with disposition up to +15.
Mod : This ability gives you +12 all defenses and you get +1 every 6 levels from level 1 (level 7, 13, 19)
Priest - Holy Radiance :
Original game : The abilities gives you 20 health (scales with disposition up to 26) and 17 fire damages over time vs vessels (scales with disposition up to 23) in an AoE. This ability also scales normally with Power Level.
Mod : The abilities gives you 26 health and 23 fire damages over time vs vessels in an AoE from start. This ability also scales normally with Power Level. (it was impossibile to implement both level scaling and power level scaling).
Priest - Spiritual Weapons :
Original game : These weapons have a 25% lash damages (scales with disposition up to 31%)
Mod : These weapons have a 25% lash damages, +1% every 3 levels from level 1 (level 4, 7, 10, 13, 16, 19)
(Note that the ingame description only states 25% lash due to display issue, but the scaling up to 31% has been properly tested)
Installation instructions :
- The mod is supposed to work with all DLC installed, including Free DLC :
- Beast of Winter
- Slayer, Seeker, Survivor
- Forgotten Sanctum
- Critical Role Pack
- Rum Runner's Pack
- Beard and Hair Pack
- Scalawag's Pack
- The Deck Many Things
Missing one of these DLC may cause Black Screen.
Sorry for not being able to optimize the mod without the purchasable DLC, and be sure to install all the free ones (might not be necessary for all of them but this is the configuration I personnally use).
- Download the mods archives above.
- Open <Pillars of EternityII>/PillarsOfEternityII_Data/ folder.
- Find the /overridesubfolder. The correct file path would be: <Pillars of Eternity II>/PillarsOfEternityII_Data/override/
- Extract the archive into your override directory, such that you get <Pillars of Eternity II>/PillarsOfEternityII_Data/override/ReplaceDispositionScaling
- If you don't want a particular change, search the file with the corresponing name in the PillarsOfEternityII_Data\override\xxx\design\gamedata directory and delete it. There are 3 independant files :
- Faith and Conviction + Deep Faith
- Holy Radiance
- Spritual Weapons
On an existing Paladin, you may need to respec and pick Deep Faith for Faith and Conviction/Deep Faith change to take place.
This mod has been tested with Community Patch and Balance Polishing Mod active, but is supposed to be totally independant from them.
