I don't want to insult the creator because I'm sure it works wonderfully but something about the striping on the nose on this guy looks a little off. Like its a little too 'clean' if that makes sense? You can see it in the banner image actually the second stripe in ends to cleanly for a 'natural' look. Is this intentional? Sorry if I'm nitpicking but it might help to bring the creation to the next level. Again No insult meant and really want to help the creator out here. If I'm wrong/don't have the experience in design work to understand it can't be like that/don't have the knowledge of the animal in question please let me know! I've never seen one of those critters before so I don't know. Just looked off to me. Please let me know! Thank you.
Hi I'm the guy who did the model and skin, you are completely right, I was messing around with variations for the first time and because of the way variations work I never got to see that particular part of the variation in testing, I intend to update the skin when I can. Sorry about this slipping into release!
No need to apologize ^^ We all make mistakes and can improve on work, especially when you can't see the final product. I sketch and I know some of my pieces don't look right all the time. I'm just glad I could be of some help and help you in some small way. Other wise it looks pretty good ^^ So kudos none the less. I went and looked at these guys irl and its looks otherwise pretty close, just that one stripe looks off but that might be a render issue if I remember the ancient modeling class I took in high school lol. Shouldn't be a hard fix when you get around to it. Thank you none the less for all the hard work you've already done though^^ Hope to see more from you and this creator and will down load this guy when he's all done.
I saw this guy at zoo Tampa across from the Indian gharials and I loved how big they could get. All in all amazing mod. Can you do a fresh water crocodile?
