This mod looks really interesting ! I have a question : some days ago, Colossal Bioscence "de-extinct" direwolves with an edited genome of wolf. Have you planned to add a variant of this wolf or not ?
I have an issue with this mod, when the animals are scarred, the game doesn"t load the skin and the model appears blank. I"ve only had this issue with one of the black variants and the white variant so far (top left and top right icon on your first image)
is there a way to fix this? I have the same issue with a few other remasters by you (red kangaroo remaster and przewalski variants)
hey after lots of closing and opening of the game going through my mods, i determined this one is the one that crashes my game whenever i open my zoo. i believe pzoo was just updated yesterday so im assuming thats why. wanted to let you know!
It works just like other animals you have to wait and keep refreshing when listing expire so you can find the variants! I thought this too until I got patient and waited and I got the white and black wolf in no time. Also got a litter with 2 different variants!

Putting the wolves in a habitat together make them occasionally howl together, which is awesome. However, idk if it's because of the mod, but when they do howl it lasts for up to 2-3 minutes at a time... non-stop. It gets quite annoying after a while when it happens every minute or so. Didn't happen before I got the mod, so I'm not sure if it's a mod bug or not.
It just can't be because of the mod, as there's nothing inside this mod that changes animal behavior, needs or stats at all except for variants and size, so I guess you got unlucky with the animal AI in the game, as animals sometimes get dumb and start to do the same thing over and over
