I found a comment talking about load times when going to the exterior world, and its happening to me aswell. With *just* the Lumi version installed, when I leave any poke-center/mart/house or tunnel, I get the Lumi load symbol and it added about 5-10 seconds loading time. I don't know if its because of all the models being loaded (which would be fine and expected) but ive not really seen anyone talk about this so I just wanted to type it here incase others get the same questions
You're not crazy. This has happened often, but as I'm not working on this till after my race in July, I will not be making any updates. I'll do some more testing when I get back to this project, but that's unfortunately all I can say for now. Do you have specific locations where the loading is worse so I can test those areas specifically?
Kinda odd to start the game out with a trainer from a completely different region and time, but that is alright. Any way to make it to where I can start as the base characters, rather than having to progress through a good chunk of the game?
Hi! I was wondering if you could tell me how I could change the flags for our hats in and out of battle.
I recently used this mod, and saved while using it, but swapping back over to regular Lumi, it has disabled the hats for some skins, and has disabled the in battle hat for Platinum Dawn. I really love your mod, but was wondering if you could tell me how you turned the hats on and off, because I was wanting to finish this vanilla Lumi playthrough before doing a nonchibi run. It's such a small thing, but it really bothers me to suddenly not have my hat in battle anymore. TwT
I honestly have no idea what you’re talking about, but if you want to remove the Dechibified stuff, you’ll have to just erase your mod folder and redo the Lumi mod. I’m not changing hats, I’m just changing the entire model. It’s not separated into portions at all.
Just make sure you don’t erase your saved data. They’re completely different locations but I’ve been blamed for ruining saves before.
I honestly don't know if it will work for 2.2 at the moment, but I have no idea why it wouldn't. It's mostly a skin-based mod with a few small exceptions. I am not going to be updating anything till after July 12th since I'm currently spending my time training, but I will try and get a new version to work with 2.2 (or whatever version is out at the time) when I get back.
Hi adomin thank you so much for making this mod and also dropping it on my birthday too (last year), may i ask can we also become like other pokemon trainer too like becoming N or Hugh for example?
Sorry, but I don’t think you will be able to separate the two. The bike model is attached to the models themselves. It could probably be done if I could find out how Unity bundles work and separate them out completely, but I don’t really have time to do that right now.
Hey! I play base BD/SP, and I NEED this mod, but it crashes on start when I put the romf in my mods folder, even when it's in another folder. I can't find any instruction whatsoever to download the base version and would appreciate some help. Thanks!
[EDIT] Holy s#*! man I've been playing for like 20 hours on V1.0 of base Brilliant Diamond LMAOO. I was wondering why the main menu had a black background behind the font. Actually shook that it loaded my save fine as well! Thanks for this fantastic mod!
For anyone wondering, just drag and drop the ENTIRE downloaded folder into your mods directory. You can rename it but leave romf and everything after the same.
I’m glad you got it figured out. I try to give the best explanation I can but sometimes people understand things differently. I hope your explanation helps someone else as well.
1. You can use Brilliant Diamond or Shining Pearl to play this game. Read the mod details page for instructions. 2. I have never made a trailer for this so my assumption is that you’re referring to Pokemon Re:Lumi (Also called luminescent 3.0.) which isn’t out yet. 3. If you are talking about this mod (which I don’t know where you might have seen a trailer for this) I do have ≈370 models that you can use, you’ll just have to actually look at the instructions for that.
https://youtube.com/shorts/jEsNKoG4yMg?si=BqJnw9TZWxslKRAs here its shown that you can customise character from any design given but i only get M.Cs boys and girls of differnt game
Yeah, but if you go read pretty much anything on my documents page you would have found the information you're looking for. My mod is built ON Luminescent Platinum. It will update it. You are trying to play the base mod. Follow the link below.
DEVILLORD1234: Make sure you’re following the instructions on the main page. I know it works for sure, but it may take trying again. You should have a clean import of Lumi installed and then you need to place the Dechibified file in. It is meant to overwrite the Luminescent Platinum files and modify the mod. If you DON’T want Dechibified then just use Luminescent Platinum and don’t add Dechibified.
If you’re looking for the combination of the outfits in Luminescent and Dechibified platinum, they are currently not available. Those are the final step in the road map.
Dinmyr: I literally said that but if you’re willing to get on and make a mountain out of a mole hill then yes, it is completed. I have 100% Dechibified Pokemon Platinum. That’s what the base files are and it has all the protagonists from gen 1-9 pre installed.
Now I am adding an extra 700+ models for people to use. Technically this is a separate project that is maintained within the optional files. Hence, it is only “not-completed” based on what you want the definition to be: The starting goal or the evolved goal.

I’m still working on adding about 450+ models, so it’s not “complete”.
OR ANY OTHER GAME TELL ME
If you’re looking to use base Brilliant Diamond or Shining Pearl, use the file called base BDSP.
