Sadly not this month. I am trying to integrate the textures through Peixoto, but got no clue how. Might take an entire year even. However, i got atleast something coming up this week for Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. (Nothing major, very minor.)
It just doesn't work. SpecialK requires four restarts of the game to load the folder, and even then, it doesn't load the textures or the entire HD remaster. Only the "POPT2T HD Texture Pack" works combined with "The Unofficial Patch" works well. Please find a way to make it work 100%, like a simple copy-paste solution. From your video, it looks like an amazing project, and I’d love to share it with POP fans! :D
sorry. I wish it was that simple. It's a miracle the mod is able to work even at my end with SpecialK. If the Tutorial does not get it working, then it won't work at all. I'm sorry. Perhaps i can ask Varga Tomi to repack the textures. That might be the only way possible.
I'm playing the GOG version of this game and the health bar doesn't work properly with or without this mod (the only difference is that with the mod the health bar turns to red). If I take some damage when I have one or more health upgrades, the health texture breaks keeping the damage and the health with blue and red colours until being modified again. Then, history repeats itself. On the other hand, if I try to inject the textures following the steps, the game freezes completely... Please, help me! I really love this game and I would like to play it properly. The textures which works with my version are included in the "POP Warrior Within Full HD Textures Enhanced pack (Refined)" mod using other program to inject them.
No he didn't. He uses files from vargatomi's mod. Your mods looks cleaner to me so I would love to use it but Peixoto's Patch doesn't seem to work for me at all. Texture replacement doesn't, it won't even dump textures. I have Steam version of the game so maybe that's why it's not working.
Replacing BF file works and it seems to load the proper texture. Now if only someone could build prince.bf file using your texture pack, it would really help.

So when I do it step by step the prince's bar kind of turns red, instead of turning blue, how do I make the bar blue? Is there a video tutorial teaching how to put the textures? It's strange that the only mod that works is the Sword HD Texture, as for the other textures, they literally don't work.
Do you play on steam? Because when I played on Steam the life bar turned red but when I played on Ubisoft Connect or on DVD the life bar went back to blue.

i believe it's cause you need to shuffle textures files in a different order. Too many textures could cause some not loading in, or some need to be in blocking or streaming to prevent the game from crashing. Try to see what happens if you import all textures to streaming or vice versa with blocking. If it still keeps on crashing, check how the game plays out with simply the prince.bf file and not having loaded in any textures yet from my textures.
I just saw the person who had the same problem as me was using the Steam version and I also use the Steam version, can you tell me what version you are using so I can do the test? (Ubisoft Connect, Steam , GOG, or on the CD)
I was able to fix the problem , the problem is from SpecialK32.dll, instead of putting the file SpecialK32.dll , I copied d3d9.ll which was in the PoP WW 20th Anniversary Mod folder V1.0.1-16-V1-0-1-1732907867 in the folder where I installed Prince of Persia Warrior Within and it worked. Hopefully it will work throughout the game. I used Ubisoft Connect and it worked.
Does anyone know about not being able to open/use SpecialK menu when using SpecialK64.dll?
I know in the tutorial it says to use SpecialK32.dll, but when I use it, suddenly all of the words in the game completely glitch, being a lot more bothering, some models are glitched aswell, like the ground on the menu disappearing and the effects on the portal being strange. I didn't see if the cutscenes are working just fine but I can open the menu, but using SpecialK64.dll it fixes the words and the models, but when I start the cutscene after Shahdee's Boss Fight on the ship, the game suddenly crashes everytime, and I can't use the menu because it suddenly stops working and just the game keeps working, Also, in the normal PoP WW Folder, it doesn't have any d3d9.dll to delete, just a d3d9.ini (Steam Folder) so I just grab the SpecialK32/64.dll and put in there and rename it.
ah, i havent tested the steam version out, i'm sorry. I wish to compile the mod into 1 single prince.bf file. Would make things so much easier, and noone would experience crashes like they do now. There's a way to do this, but implementing all those changes takes ages. I'm hoping to 1 day make the mod available simply through changing it that way but i guess for now you're stuck with this problem. 32 worked for me, 64 for you possibly cause of owning the steam version. I'll do some more testing, If nothing changes I'll try to apply only the models and textures, I really think it's just that cinematic in specific, so maybe just use the textures and use the original cutscenes can work, when I applied everything with the K32, even when I changed to K64, the changes continued, even without being able to open the menu to refresh any textures I don't know much about modding or using SpecialK in general but I guess there's still some chances to use the mod in some way. It works fine except for the health bar. for some reason if i take damage the blue health texture breaks. what's the texture to just remove it in the meantime.
Yeah. Sadly that issue won't go away no matter what i do. I guess it will stay that way forever. Version 1.0.0 of the mod released just now! With it comes HD Cutscenes integration of another existing mod!
