That doesn't really help much. There's more than eight thousand files in ORGM; what exactly needs changed? If we're to be expected to fix this ourselves we at least need a starting point
Most likely to do with the LUA files to make sure the mod loads into the game if it's all about "basic coding". I got days worth of tampering and making basic Lua in Gmod, so If I find a way to update the mod I will reupload it with credits provided.
"If you wish to make a custom version available to your friends or server users, with downloads hosted in a location other then the steam workshop, you are free to do so WITHOUT permission from the original authors, however this file must be included, as well as the changelog.txt and credits must be given."
Ever tried reading the Credits and Permissions.txt file? Apparently not.
Edit: Lua is practically non-existent in Brita's Weapon pack and a plethora of others from the workshop which means the code & script needs to completely retranslated. It's using .X files. 130,000 characters on a measly knife, kek. DOUBTS, that people made this work whatsoever. Prove it with an upload or it never happened.
Great mod, but what configuration do you recommend to preserve immersion? On the default settings you can find buildings with several cabinets with a ton of weapons and ammunition, thats unrealistic.
Spawns are set by default for 'Survival' mode gameplay, which is equivalent to the sandbox setting Rare weapon loot. Enough scattered around the map that guns have a purpose, and the player can survive long-term but only if they manage ammo. When people play on different settings it can throw the spawn balance out of whack. If you're finding that much then your probably playing on "First Week" mode or sandbox with Normal, Common, or Abundant loot, you'll have to adjust the orgm specific spawn settings, not really sure I can give a good answer for balance on that mode since its highly subjective. But the spawn multiplier options are pretty strait forward, if you want half as much ammo set the Ammo Spawn Multiplier to 0.5 and its going to reduce the ammo spawn chance by 50%.
This IS supposed to take place in rural Kentucky... How many guns and how much ammunition do you think is unrealistic? I have 5 guns and hundreds of rounds at home, and that's just because I can't afford more. Real gun people have several cabinets with a ton of weapons and ammunition. I find the sparsity of guns and ammo to be the unrealistic part.
Not Sure if This is my problem, But after installing the MOD my UI Was all bugged, it was all code-style like, stuff like ui_inventory_container. not that I mind it too much, but also I Wasn't able to see the weapons using Necroforge. any Fix for the UI at least?
If your trying to run this on PZ build 41 animation beta version it wont work. Currently the mod is only for the stable branch 40.43 and lower and will run on those without issues. The only reason I could see it overwriting the default UI translation strings is if you made the mistake of installing the mod in your main PZ directory (mods go in C:\users\USERNAME\Zomboid\mods)
