Most people either use the Nightdive remaster or something like Yamagi, which is probably the best source port for Q2. I really don't see the point of needing the original, obsolete Q2 executable to run this mod, and not even the final version of it to boot; not that it matters much anyway.

I'd love this for Quake 2 RTX, or does it already work with it?

I love the idea behind this mod but I play the remastered NightDive version of Quake and this mod does not seem to be compatible. I've tried to install with no success. Shame. I wouldn't know how to run 2 different versions of the game to get it working, let alone knowing where to find them and how to use them. Most people playing Quake II are playing the NightDive remaster on steam. If it's not compatible with that, no one is going to play the mod.

same. Weird mod it doesn't even specific what if any source ports it been tested with, and also says you need two ancient versions of quake 2?
