This mod is for the addition of the First Multi Unit compound engine in Railroader
The C&O H6 class of the USRA locomotive was used for shipment of heavy coal loads down to Logan VA. The multi engine Compound loco is perfect for Robinson coal gap and Mainline service of heavy freight loads. Inching just over 7000lbs of tractive effort over the In game F71 Santa Fe. Weighing in at 78,000Lbs of tractive effort. With cab controls
Front Engine:
L-78 Front
Rear Engine:
L-78 Rear
The engine must be purchased in two units and combined either at Interchange or spawned in as a Consist.
Career Mode
1; Purchase both the Front and Rear L-78 engines
2; Control the Rear unit and couple it with the front
3; Shift+click the Glad hands on the front left Rear engine
4; Select the Front engine and Check the MU and Cut out boxes under Engine selection.
Sandbox Mode
1; Select both the Front and Rear L-78 Engines in Consist
2; Place consist
3; Select the Front engine and Check the MU and Cut out boxes under Engine selection.
FAQ
Q: I cant select the whistle Bar?
A: the Selection box is there for the Whistle. For whatever reason Railroader does not let it be used
Q: The Wheels keep slipping?
A: Slowly walk the engine up to its maximum power.
Q: It fits on the the Turn table, But it wont turn?
A: update to V1.1
Q: AI isn't working
A: update to v1.1
Q: I cant make the front and rear engine the same number
A: Just change the road identifier of the front engine unit i.e.(BMRR 1301, BMR 1301)
Q: The chuffs are single not double
A: The locomotive is currently restricted to compound mode due to game limitations.
Q: The engine is broke it wont back into cars!?
A: It is E stopping, Make sure both the engines are in Manual decouple the front run unit out and re-couple it.
Q: the front engine flies off randomly.
A: Yes the front engine detaches there is currently no understanding of why this happens or what it causing it. Even from sources i have with an intimate understanding of the game in detail. Until there are more tools for this i cant look much deeper. Just re-attach the front engine to the rear. Duplicate bug reports will be deleted. Posting about it and applying more pressure will not fix it any quicker.

- Both engines now exert tractive effort and have a higher adhesion (more realistic preformance).
- Lettering is colorable-popular request.
- Front Truck was not articulating properly is now fixed.
- Turn table friendly now.
- Cylinder cocks on the front engine.
- Oiling points fixed
