This mod (when it works) works really well, and looks great. The sound could use a bit of an update, but I understand the lack of a third and fourth chuff is due to the fact the front part doesn't technically belong to the first engine.
You'll remember how I said "when it works"? That's because this thing sucks at switching. Putting it in a switching yard (Or even just using a Y junction to turn it around) results in a higher chance of the front locomotive going haywire. I remember one time trying to recouple to it, and it launched off the front at speeds well over 100.
Found a potential / maybe partial solution to the front engine yeeting itself randomly. Just don't use the headlight on the front engine unit. Ever since I forgot to turn on the headlight, I haven't had an undesirable separation. Will update if this turns out not to be the case.
I really love this mod, but one thing that I've noticed recently is that sometimes the lead engine will sometimes break away for no reason and I have to get it back to the rear engine to make it work. Idk if anyone else has been having this issue, but I think it would be a noteworthy mention if this mod were to get some fixes. Like I'll be running it in AI mode and then all of a sudden when I'm not looking, the front engine would runaway from the other half.
there have been issues ive heard from others i understand that this is the first mod that has been made but for the most part this is a very cool mod i love the work done to it i havent touched the mod much myself since i havent managed to progress to a stage to get the 2 6 6 2 but from what ive seen this is a very well made mod even with the bugs that have surfaced cant wait to see what you do next
