With the release of the major 1.0 update, a lot of new content has been released including a hefty update to the game's VO:
New SWAT Voices: 13 uniquely voiced, studio-quality voice lines for different tactical officers operating in the LSPD.
New Suspect and Civilian Voices: Fully added all remaining voice lines for key characters across each level, with over 50,000 voice lines across more than 120 characters.
I took some time to play the update and hear the new voices myself and they sound pretty good!
But I decided to try and look at the new voice files. Judge alone now has over 2100 voice lines compared to the previous Adam update of only 270! Many of the new lines are contextual level call outs such as hallways and exits, most that are not available in the source material of Swat 4.
There are also many new SWAT VOs added since the original four with over 1,300 files for each. I won't even touch on how many new civilian/bad guy lines there are as well. With that, I'm afraid that there simply isn't enough source material to work with.
If someone else would like to take the mantle, please feel free to use whatever material that's been uploaded or work with Swat 4's files directly. Since they switched the sounds to OGG now, it should be easier to convert between the two games.
I would like to say thank you to everyone who downloaded, supported and mostly enjoyed the sound pack while it lasted. I mainly created this mod for myself since I am a huge fan of Swat 4. But I feel like this is a project now that is too much for one person and I feel VOID did a fantastic job this time with the voice overs.
I hope you all understand and have a great holiday!
Hey s1nk0, I understand that due to too many files for civilians/suspects/SWAT you cannot update the mod anymore but I realized that you haven't mentioned anything regarding TOC. It seems TOC still have manageable amount of files to replace so I was wondering if you are planning on updating TOC at least? Thank you for this amazing mod!
You wouldn't need it in multiplayer, you'd just talk to your teammates through voice chat. This is for playing in single player with an AI team, like in SWAT 4.
For some reason I can't get this to work. I Haven't had a problem modding this game before and I'm not sure why it isn't working because I've followed the instructions and I cant seem to find a video anywhere showing how to do it. You should make a video showing how to install/extract because it looks like a cool mod.

I can certainly take a look at TOC and see what I can do. :)
Is it not possible to also do it for multiplayer somehow?
