I'm very interested in this mod; however, it would be nice to choose more than one color so you can choose what to drop as a sort of communication to your online team. like red if there's a sure trap on the door, amber if it's got audibles, green if its good, blue for a cleared room. these are just examples of how I would utilize that feature. I don't know anything about modding otherwise I would try and do this myself. I would love to see this addition to the mod though!
It really is a good idea, I wish I could do something like that, but I really don't know how. I just change the amount and color and the color of the object. But adding a second chemlight would be a whole different thing. I guess you have to change something in the code to add a second one.
Modding isn't that hard, if you change little things, like the color for example. There are a lot of guides about it. The hardest part is to find the right file, where I have to change the stuff. Ready or Not has 21 Files, and in those files you have a loooooooooot of folders and files. But I'm happy that you contribute by downloading mods. That's what we want :D
Is there an any way to change the chemlight colours on armors? I love red a lot but wish I could know how to change it. Thank you really much your efforts, you're amazing <3
Thank you <3 Before creating this mod, I tried to change the armor of the chemlights, but was unsuccessful. I looked into it again, but Iβm still not sure how to change it. :( I'm sure that someone with more experience can do it.
Thanks to you, Iβve found out how to change the color of the dropped chemlights object. :D
I think the chemlights on the player models are static objects not related to the actual chemlights we drop, although in groans4u decked out swat mod his chemlights can actually change to match the colour of our selected one with this mod
10x are chemlights with different colors. I didn't edit the amount of it, it's just the color. 100x are chemlights with different colors, BUT you got 100 of them, not just 10 chemlights like normal.
Nice mod! it works perfect with ver 1.0 :D However, if you have a plan for 20 or 30 versions, I would appreciate it if you could consider it. I think 10 is too little and 100 is too much. It's up to you whether you'll do me a favor or not. Even if there are only 10 chemlights, I will use your mod with thanks. ;D
Itβs great to hear that you like my mod! π I appreciate your feedback and suggestions. Unfortunately, I am currently unable to work on the mod due to time constraints.
Sadly, I really have no idea why this is happening to you. I tried to switch to DirectX11 and DirectX12 and also changing my graphic settings multiple times, in case this would be the reason. I also removed all my other mods, but nothing will switch the chemlight to default green like in your picture. :/
Do you have this problem also on other 10x chemlights?
You could try to move all your installed mods to another folder and only use 10x chemlights orange, to check if there is any overlapping with another mod.
hi, i like your mod! just curious, is it possible to make 100 normal chemlights (i mean not too bright) (or at least bright enough but not too exaggerated)?
Hey, I'm glad you like the mod :) Yes, it is possible, but unfortunately, I cannot make the changes you requested because it would require me to create 8 additional files and update all 24 mod files in case of any future updates. I hope you understand that this is too much work for me at the moment. Thank you for your understanding.

I know it's not much, but I support the modders in my way

I don't know exactly, so I'm asking you a question..
x10 like original one, but different colour
x100 well name itself tell you. (with different colour)
I have tested both files and I didn't see any difference (maybe it has a difference, but I didn't see it). anyway is a very good mod
Thank you AstroPug2023 π

I don't know how it would look in the game... but the Amber color would look great for the chemlight!!
