i like the idea of the mod because it makes breaching so much easier but the fact that it can kill you or your AI swat if you stepped on the grenade on the ground (let alone launch it AT them) is very annoying
On revisiting, for some reason the momentum trajectory for the grenades goes crazy for me...sometimes the canister ricochets in enclosed spaces and instantly kills me.
i m getting instantly killed when i step on grenade case lying on floor. also when grenade bounces off the walls it often kills civs suspects and teammates

I made a mod a long time ago that would drop a gun if a swat team had a bad hand injury, or make it impossible for a swat team to run if they had a leg injury, but it wasn't popular.
and in the early days, many players disliked the suspect's intelligence because it was too human, and now they think it's too boring. That's why Void disable most of the suspect's good features. (What the hell am I supposed to do?) They comment that they don't like this, they don't like that. Think it's a pity for void, having to deal with fickle players all the time.

You've got a point. But honestly, I don't really care what people think. They can take it or leave it. I made this because it bothered *me,* and solves an annoyance for *me.* Shared on nexus because maybe it bothers other people do. If someone doesn't like it - then don't install it lol. Makes no difference to me.
Both of your injury mods actually sound pretty cool to me. Have you got to update them for home invasion?
the entire player base is egotistical incels. they dont win in real life so they need a win here. if you make the game play like real life their incompetence will shine through and theyll be spotted for the losers that they are. its best to just deal with them like toddlers, just ignore them
the game is WAY to easy. player health should be the same as ai and ai should feel like r6 seige noobs. the win rate for a well oiled team should be 50%. thats a balanced learning experience. getting scared angry barricaded killer humans with guns out of a building where they have the advantage and hostages IS NOT easy and it never takes just 3 minutes
dont listen to the people saying that they want a 100 round mags with 10000 health points. if you want their downloads so badly make both versions so people can pick. make an unrealistic version and label it for babies and make a realistic one and label it for men. let the people decide. if i were you i wouldnt worry about being on any bandwagon and just make your realistic uncomfortable mods. im one of the few players desperately looking for them.
once i find them i run them on 8-12 people servers. i shoot for realism. if you take a 556 to the pelvis bone youre a casualty and youre out. i bring in swat ai with respawns for my team so we end up having around 20 guys for a proper swat raid. the people who slow down, humble themselves and play with the team love it and consistently win. the speedrunning know-it-all baba yaga wannabes get dropped quick and end up ruining the experience for others by forcing a loss. the two main mods i use to achieve a balanced game that requires thinking and communication are:

from there any thing you add realistic will only make it more fun for the people who want to play correctly and use all the gear and controls provided. your 100% right this game was ruined by its playerbase and honestly i cant come up with a good reason to continue to cater to them. its sad but it can be fixed, just stick to your guns and make it harder. if someone is making it easier call them out in a very demeaning and passive aggressive way, fight fire with fire.
just fyi, i check the steam accounts and a ridiculous amount of players have more than 1000 hours on warzone alone. please dont listen to those people. how could they have good taste? this is all just suggestion you can do whatever you want
Well I kinda agree with the AI part so I'm OK with the vanilla AI (even though their FOV is so high for a human that they can cover more than 180 degrees and aim with ease). What I'm not really into is the exaggerated injury effect, because I believe irl the officer will be carried away after being shot once. It's even harder, in terms of probability, not to get hit for a 5-man team to clear a building with 15 suspects or sth.
humans would always be pointing their guns in the right direction unless you are actively sneaking which is a lot harder than it looks.
i know it doesnt make sense for the enemy to swivel around and one shot you but you know what makes even less sense? a bunch of trained professionals just completely facing the wrong way, even though there's only one door you can enter from and your making more noise than an elephant on the other side.
to fix this dumb ai problem we have to make them appear to make inhuman actions. remember youre basically robocop in this game with infinite stamina. i wouldn't just be complaining about the inhuman ai, the player is also an unstoppable robot in vanilla
I don't know what caused my game to crash: The projectile of Flashbang from the launcher directly hit the suspect or when it exploded and broke the TV, glass wall, and other glass stuff near him afterward. My game was normal before I installed the mod. Now, even when I removed the mod my game still crashed.
This is a very good mod, but I would like to point out one issue. I have tested this with M32A1 Custom Reloading mod and normal grenade launcher in the testing range and noticed that its Flash grenade effects are fading out faster like magic in 0.5 seconds. Anyone has the same issue too?
One really super duper small critique of your really cool mod. I often fire grenades at an angle towards walls, bouncing them deeper into the room. Occasionally they'll hit suspects, which is nice, but they'll also instantly kill civilians and fellow teammates if they make contact whilst in the air. This can be really frustrating. I'm hoping this can be amended, but if not, I still thank you for making this dope mod.
