Hi! Dont mean to rush you but do we have a release date when this will be updated for 1.0? Thanks and please take your time there's no need to rush this I'm just curious.
Probably just whenever the dev gets to it, I'm sure he's doing this in his spare time and has other responsibilities to get to before he can help us. Patience is key lol

All I hear from my own character is f*#@ all, and everyone else has completely normal voice lines. I took the lines from the GRUNT file, and put them in all the files mentioned in the installation, but that didn't seem to change anything besides my own. It's 3 AM and I've gotta get to bed, so I can't try much else. I'm just hoping one of you have found a solution or otherwise. LukasROawsome has mentioned having to do some insane stuff that I currently don't have the time for, and neither did he, having given up completely midway through his manual attempt to get it to work.
Should I just sit back and wait a few months for the mod author to catch up and fix it? Why'd this even happen in the first place anyway?
When Ready or not did their 1.0 update, they expanded voicelines to about 1400 voicelines and from I want to say .WAV files to .OGG files, so they are totally incompatable.
Just so you guys know, if you can't wait, just download combine voice lines ( from this mod and u should find on google the rest of the VO ) and you can place them by yourself in the VO folder and just change the name with whatever line you want in that folder. It's a really long process but as long as you use the VO's included in this pack ( which you also gotta rename ) should drop the manual labor from over 900 to 400-500. It took me a few days and I'm not done yet, I probably processed 300-400. As in, I still get a mix of combine and the game's VO, I just gotta either identify them in game, or play every single VO from the folder, and replace it with whatever combine line I want.
Hey! Absolutely loving this mod. Total immersion, even with no visual mods. I do have a minor suggestion I'd like to share. In HLA, I'm pretty sure most of the Combine troops have voice lines where they try to act friendly towards Alyx. Some use her name but others say stuff like, "Ceasefire, target is friendly." "Weapons down, Echo 1, weapons down." I think these could work incredibly well for reporting civs or cable-tied suspects.
Also, just as an aside, the Suppressor has two voice lines in HLA where he says, "Overwatch, contaminant is all bark." and "Ugh, requesting shadow." I'm unsure as to whether or not you included these, but I love them, and hope that if you didn't include them, you could. They'd be pretty good for reporting cable-tied/dead suspects and as a callout for shouting at an enemy respectively.
Thanks again for this awesome mod! Great work!!!!!!!

Yeah those are included. I opted to have them as instances of friendly fire. Mostly due to the fact that they sound panicked about it, I felt like it fit better in that case. I do think I chopped up some of those lines and used them for reporting civilians though.
Yeah as far as I remember that's a bug with how RoN handles characters. In singleplayer you'll always be assigned to Judge. However in multiplayer I believe you can select whatever character you want so that should open things up. I would recommend just setting Judge to be your favourite unit as that's what you'll be hearing most of the time
