I won't be updating this, the patterns in the .ini are clear and visible, someone else can compare the bytes from the old exe and this and update it accordingly, sorry.
Omarock But if I use the dinput8.dll provided with this mod, your mod does not work anymore : I have to use the version from Github, but the tweaks will stop working. I have no explanations !
Thank you for the update, but for some reason sun rays are also missing with this patch. Here's the comparison. The best place to test this is right after bar cutscene in the prologue.
I can totally understand the confusion, but original mod's description for switch says: "Removes the sun flare effect. Sun rays are still present." Sun flare is just a post effect that imitates an artifact of camera lenses caused by a bright source of light e.g. the sun. This ugly circle around the window is the only thing I really want to get rid of.
Perhaps the game's behavior on PC is slightly different and this method won't work as intended. I think you can just rename this option to "Remove Sun rays + Sun flare" and call it a day. In any case, thank you for your effort.
Hi just a little question, there isn't a way to patch the 2 GB VRAM requierement from the game directly from exe? i know there is a DXGI patch, but i tried to do it in debugger but i can't get it working
Can you convert this to work with ScriptHookRDR as a plugin? Then you would only need the .asi files. As it is now, your mod conflicts with ScriptHookRDR, meaning most users will not be able to enjoy it.
You might not need to alter the .asi. The DLL is what conflicts with ScriptHookRDR. For users of Vortex, this will be easy to resolve. But if someone installs the mod manually after installing ScriptHook, they might overwrite the DLL and cause game-hooking scripts to fail and break the mod loader.
Your call, but my recommendation would be to simply list ScriptHookRDR as a Requirements and just distribute the .asi and config.

Problem is after I use lenny's simple trainer the mod seems to not working.
Any insight to overcome this?
Thanks.
